Posted .Hi telhas,
We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing connectivity issues with the left bud and we'd like to help. Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
Here are the Factory Reset instructions that might help resolve this problem:
To soft reset your earbuds:
-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.
-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.
To hard reset your earbuds:
-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.
-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.
-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.
You can also try re-establishing connection between the left and right earbud using the steps found on this link:

Best Wireless Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best true wireless headphones I've used so far. I use these for running and exercising. I have the AirPods and they just don't stay in my ear. The sound quality is great and they block most external noise.

Tiny ears maybe not so great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light weight but didn’t like the fit in my ear. I didn’t bother with pairing them so can’t attest to the sound quality. I wanted them for paddling on the river will probably go with a waterproof portable speaker instead. Only rating midline because I didn’t really use them.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones work great and sound fantastic. My only small complaint is the headphones turn on when you open the case, so if it's in your pocket and gets clicked, you could reach in to find your right bud dead and the left full charged.

A bit bulky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After wearing these earbuds I noticed that I didn't like the way that they protruded from my ears. I wish that they would've fit a bit more flush. The sound was great though. I just didn't like the aesthetics.

For the minimalist
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More like 3 1/2 stars. Ok, this review is tricky. I am going to comment on what it is vs. what I think it should be. If you are a runner who just needs music to play with little need for controls, this set might be for you. I'm not. My workout fluctuate and the music I listen to switches just as frequently as the paces I use. First the positives: Fit- Out of the box, the eargels were a perfect fit for me. Being that this is my first pair of "wireless' headphones, I was worried about the potential of these falling out and/or shifting. So far, they've weathered everything I've thrown at them, with no discomfort and only an occasional adjustment. Sound- the sound out of the box is, indeed, flat. But once you connect to the app, the EQ settings are amazing. I was able to fine tune the sound I needed. It's also great that the earbuds "remember" my settings from workout to workout. App- the app is actually useful. From having selectable EQ settings to playlist recommendations, it actually is beneficial to tinker around and keep the app on your phone. Functionality- the buttons are responsive, and the build is sturdy. I have had no issues in differentiating the presses for specific functions. Battery is as described with a little less on bass heavy EQ settings. The charging case is sleek and extremely useful for protecting the earbuds, and giving a quick charge between sessions. If basic function combined with these pluses peak your interest, you can stop here, but if you want to find where the disappointment lies...read on. While I enjoy this headset, it could not be my main set, which is unfortunate, especially at this price point. First off...there is no rewind button! I know some may not see that as a downer, but for someone who occasionally really connects to a song during a session, I simple function such as rewind/replay is sorely missed. I was able to use the Assistant feature to "sometimes" achieve a replay, but it is not always seamless. Bummer. There is no volume control on the headset. If you run/workout is varying environments, you know how important volume control can be to match your surroundings. The headset is meant to keep free from returning to your phone for control, so when I have to switch volume for environment or a song coming in too hot, I have to get to my phone and set the volume and reset whatever i was doing. Slightly tedious. If you try to use these to watch video, I have noticed there is a slight delay in audio, some more than others. It definitely is the headphones, as my other sets have no issue. Granted this is probably not prefered tester for these headphones, but at this level, I assumed that would be a given. It's not. Another gripe...no multipoint. I workout several times a week, and my workouts vary from weight training to roadwork to cardio machines. I usually have two devices that I switch between for audio and/or video during my sessions. Just about every headset I've used in the past 5-7 years had multi-point technology as a basic function. For those who need clarification, this is the ability to connect to more than one device. So if you have the earphones playing music though a laptop, you could accept a call on the cellphone when it rang through. Not possible with these. Granted these cons are outside of the wheelhouse of what this headset is advertised for, but at this price point, and in comparison with others in this category, these functions should be a standard. And being that they aren't, there should be a notification of such before purchasing. So much to love, yet so much lacking. Great for the minimalist...not so much for me. Good but not great. A final note, I am impressed with the connection between the earbuds. I have had minimal dropout from left to right, and when it happened, it immediately corrected itself.

Posted .Hi JKhan,
We appreciate your positive feedback with regard to Jaybird Run XT's sound quality, fit, battery and connectivity. We're sorry to hear that some features and design did not meet your expectations and we'd like to help please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
By default, the control buttons on your RUN XT is Play, Pause, Accept / End a call. To control the volume, you have to open the Jaybird App and select or "Alternate Controls" so you can adjust the volume using the buttons on your earbuds.
You can set the XT buds as default for calls or media audio on two different devices. It should still work without the multipoint feature.

Very very disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.his was my first Jaybird product so didn’t know what to expect. I bought these wireless headphones, trusting the positive reviews. But I am absolutely disappointed by this product. Yes, I agree, they fit fine and even when you run, I didn’t have to worry that they would fall. They fit snuggly. But the main function of wireless headphone is “to listen “. The sound quality was very very poor, I felt like, even the cheap feee headphones the mat BigBus provides you during their bus tour, had same or better sound quality. Likely many reviewers that mentioned about the “sound drops”, specially from the left headphone is annoying coz it’s very frequent. You spent so much $$ for what’s expected to be a nice quality product. And you get this. I will give it few more days and make my final decision. But most likely will return it. We have a lock down so won’t be able to return in store so will be mailing back the headphones to bestbuy soon.

OK, but not exceptional for the money
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jaybird - RUN XT Sport True Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black/Flash If you’re into working out at the gym, or running outdoors, these RunXT wireless headphone earbuds were designed for you. They are “sport fit” which means they are designed to offer a secure, sport-specific fit and won’t come out of your ears when running or working out as can other wireless earbuds. And, since sweating is often associated with active workouts, these earbuds are both sweat and waterproof. There are a number of different size fins and tips included to ensure a good fit. One of the tips installed on the device fit in one ear right out of the box, but I had to try out some of the spares to get the proper fit in the other ear. (They alert you that it’s not uncommon to have different sizes for each of your ears.) Pairing and connecting these ear buds with your phone or other Bluetooth device is easy. They paired with my phone right out of the box. The buds are stored in an egg-shaped travel case that also serves as their charging station. Attaching the included USB cable to the travel case and to your computer, with the earbuds inside the case, charges both the case and the earbuds. When unplugged, a full charge of the travel case can provide up to 12 hours of play time before the case needs to be plugged in again and recharged (four hours when the earbuds are fully charged inside the case and another two (2) four-hour charges when the buds are recharged using the power that’s stored in the unplugged travel case). Once you’ve connected the earbuds to your device, you should go to the Apple or Android app store and download the Jaybird app that lets you adjust your headphones’ sound EQ (low, mid and high ranges) to customize your own personal sound settings. Or, if you like, simply use one of the eight different sound choices that come with the app by choosing that setting. You can save and name different customized sound settings that you create so that you can use them again. Pressing on the buttons on the earbuds control different functions (On/off, Music, Activate Siri or Google Assistant, Phone Calls and Pairing). However, unlike some other earbuds, the volume is controlled from your phone’s volume rocker rather than pressing on the earbuds. For me, having to use the phone (which may be in your pocket or a holster) to control the volume is not as convenient as simply pressing the easily-reachable earbuds. While the best sound results when using both earbuds, if you want to be more aware of your surroundings, you can use just one earbud. Remember, though, if doing that, you’d want to use the right one, since that’s the one that works for your cell phone calls. I’m sure folks want to know why I only gave these earbuds three stars. While I don’t claim to be a sound aficionado, I was underwhelmed by the quality of the sound for something at this price point (~$150). Don’t get me wrong, the sound quality is fine, but I have $50 earbuds that sound just as good, or, IMO, possibly even better. If you feel it’s worth an extra $100 to keep your earbuds from falling out while running or exercising, and you want water and sweat protection, these earbuds may be for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Posted .Hi BogleheadsGuide,
Thank you for the in-depth review!
We are disappointed to hear you didn't like the sound. From your review it sounds like you tried our Jaybird app where you can adjust the EQ to your liking.
Getting a great fit will also significantly impact the sound. A great fit = great sound. Check out the Find Your Fit section in the Jaybird app if you have not already.
Thanks again for taking the time to review your Jaybird RUN XT!
