    Best Workout Headphones

Looking for the best wireless headphones for working out? This is the set you want. I’ve tried AirPods, AirPods Pro, Power Beats Pro but they all fall out or pop out of my ears especially when you start to sweat. I tried each of the headphones while doing HIIT workouts including jumping rope and weight lifting. With rapid changes in body positions during my workout, the only set that stayed in my ears were the Jaybird Tarah Pros. The AirPods/Pro would fall out while jumping rope where I would have to stop to avoid jumping on them. The Power Beats Pro would pop out of my ears and just dangle as the ear hooks help them from falling to the ground, but the constant repositioning them was really annoying. The Jaybird Tarah Pro was the only set to stay in my ears during my workouts. I would highly recommend them.

I have small ears, and these fit like a dream. The do not fall out no matter if I am running, jumping or leaning. The sound is amazing and surprised by its bass capabilities. You also have access to change EQ settings in the app. Best in-ear headphones I've ever had.

    my favorite pair of "neckbuds"

the good: -sound quality - Out of the box, sound quality isn't great, but it is pretty good. However, the mobile app has some really nice EQ functionality to it which enables you to either select a preset, a custom setting, or something called "personal EQ". Using this last setting, I actually very much like the sound now. Punch, nice low end, very clear, and plenty of volume without distortion. -battery life - Rated at 14 hours, which is fantastic. I definitely get near that using it as my daily driver for tunes. There's also a fast charge - 2 hours of battery on 5 minutes of charge. Very handy for those times when you forgot to charge before a workout! -mobile app - As I mentioned previously, very nice mobile app with tons of information and settings. My favorite is the "personal EQ", which is almost like a hearing test. It plays a sound at a specific frequency, and asks you to set the level at which you barely hear it. After doing that for a few different frequencies, my personal EQ was set. I found that my overall music quality was significantly improved using this setting. -fit - Excellent fit, at least in my case. They never feel like they're falling out, but not painful to wear for long periods of time either. -water proof - No worries about sweat or running in the rain here. -call quality - I use these for work calls quite a bit, and never any issues with volume or clarity on the other side. -magnetic charger - I personally love this feature. I can't stand the little rubber flap to cover up the charging port - a bit of a pain to use, and so easy to break off, essentially ruining the water resistance. In this case, we have a magnetic charging cradle, which just pops right in. No plugging, no rubber flap, very quick and easy. the bad: -only pairs with 1 device at a time - It would be really convenient to be able to pair (or even just connect to) at least 2 devices. If I'm using these on my computer but would like to also take a phone call with them, I have to disconnect from one and reconnect to the other. misc: -codec support - In my testing it was difficult to tell which codec I'm actually using. I can't really find any documentation on it either. I suspect that it's using SBC, but at least the bit rate seems high enough to put out a good quality sound. Most people probably won't care about this particular issue, as long as it sounds good. overall: I would love to give these 5 stars. They are some of the better sounding, better fitting, higher battery life "neck" buds I've tried. Ultimately, the only real flaws are the codec support and the bluetooth pairing limitation. I personally prefer these over most, if not all, of the comparable offerings from other manufacturers, certainly if you keep them paired with only one device. 4.5 stars for me, though Best Buy's rating system only allows for whole stars, so I have to give them a 4. Still a fantastic pair of headphones in my opinion, and very much recommended.

These have been amazing headphones since I first put them on. Being able to adjust the sound through the app is a very nice touch, and like the battery life status that displays on the phone. They block most ambient noise once in the ears and have great sound quality as well.

Overall great product. You can never go wrong with Jaybird. I was initially going to buy the truewireless but the video lag persuated me to go for these. I came to realize that the bass was good and overall sound was great. The EQ app really helps bring out the bass.

These are great for work out purposes, however the issues I have is that I wish the earbuds that came with it were the ones from the X4 or X3 series. As well as I've had an issue where I've been listening to music and videos for a few hours and it randomly cuts off the sound at around 80% and have to reset the headphones, but other than that great sound and love the waterproof feature.

I bought these last year to replace my powerbeats 3 as they were not staying in my ears whenever I would go to the gym. Needless to say these headphones are pretty good, they have good battery life, 3 different buds for different sized ears, wires that untangle easily, and other cool features. Only downside is the controls are heavy on one side leaving the headphones dangling on one ear, and they can start getting uncomfortable after 2 or so hours of use.

I have always loved jaybirds but I'm skeptical of the completely wireless earbuds. I like my earphones connected so I dont have to be bummed out when I lose 1. These have great battery life, sound and communication quality. Even got my co-workers to buy them.

Bought these for my wife. She's very particular about her headphones & how they fit. She really seems to like these ones. They don't slip out of her ears when she's running & they provide great sound quality. No complaints.

Love Jay Bird products and figured this would be the end all be all of wireless earbuds. Great sound and incredible battery life. Where they fall short is comfort compared to the X4 and all other Jay Bird headphones. But where they really fell short is not having the ability to multipoint where the step below X4 has the ability. Multipoint allows you to connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time and automatically switches over.

The Tarah Pro has so many improvements compared to my last pair of Jaybirds: sound, battery life/recharging speed, pivoting/adjustable earbuds, no lost earfoam pads, and much more. I really liked my prior Jaybirds, I love my Tarah Pros.

Best headphones I’ve owned to date.( 3 pairs or beats and the previous gen of Jaybirds to list a few) battery life is great. The braided cord is a nice and durable, the charger has been nicely upgraded an very comfortable to wear all day long.
