These work really well for running, but after purchasing them in April, in September, the charging cradle will no longer hold the charging component to charge. You have to snugly tape them into it. I have reached out to the Jaybird to get a replacement but it seems like this is an issue for this particular product.

    Uncomfortable earpieces

The earpieces have very hard wings that not comfortable. Additionally they require a special USB Charging adapter which you need to carry around in order to charge the earphones. Best Buy were very good with their return policy. It was very easy to return both pairs that I purchased and get a credit back on my account.

    Super Buds!

I am going to rave about these ear buds! The sound quality is great. When I first turned on my music there was a little bit of cutting out but then it stopped and I've had no problems since. The pre-installed rubbery buds fit my ears perfectly. It does come with a few extras to save or try to fit your ears better. I was able to go pretty far from my phone without them losing signal. Pairing was super easy with my iPhone and the Jaybird app will be great if I ever lose my earbuds. Battery life seems to be great as well. Holds the charge. The charger itself is proprietary, which as long as you don't lose it will be great. It's like a cradle. Taking calls on these is awesome! Clear sound and people hear me clearly as well. The only thing missing is a carry case. But I have a little satchel that I'll use. Overall these buds have great sound and are easy to use. I recommend them highly!

The Tarah headphones are my second set of Jaybirds and they seem to be as well-built and of high-quality as my older set. They are pretty comfortable right out of the box, at least for me. I was a little disappointed to see Jaybird decided to go with integrated "wings" on the ear tips rather than the mix-and-match of some of their other products. This could make getting a precise fit more difficult, if not impossible, for some users. They retained the proprietary charging cable/cradle on these units instead of changing to a more universal charging option. The battery life on my set of Tarah's has been pretty close to the advertised 6 hours. It has been relatively cool lately so I haven't really had to worry about the waterproofing but I have no reason to doubt they will perform as advertised based on my previous experiences with Jaybird headphones. The sound quality unfortunately doesn't live up to what I'm used to. It's not that the sound is terrible, it's just off a bit. There is a lack of crispness and the lows easily drop out or are non-existent. I'm guessing this is because of the "always aware" feature which is intended to let in some ambient noise. Nice feature for in-town runners, but for mountain biking and other non-urban activities, it becomes an irritant. Still a solid set of headphones, just wish they sounded a bit better. Note, I haven't tried tweaking the sound quality through the Jaybird app because I really dislike the app itself. Might try that just to see if things improve but I'm not terribly hopeful.
