Posted .Hello Gabz,
We are sorry to hear that your Jaybird Tarah falls off and is not loud enough and we'll be glad to help you out! Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
For future reference, you can try these suggestions regarding seal and fit (for all models):
1. Test over-ear/under-ear fit
2. Test all combinations of eartips and wings, including different sizes in each ear
3. You may view the instructional video on this link:
http://www.jaybirdsport.com/support/
A great fit will mean a decent volume level. You can use the Jaybird App and configure the settings there for a custom sound experience. On the other hand, you can check your device's volume settings.

Poor wiring quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sounded fine, but one ear quit working after about a dozen runs. There was a short in the internal wiring that could be wiggled to get some sound, but obviously that’s pointless for actual use. Never abused or put into a bag or anything, just careful use Perhaps it was a lemon. Maybe not.

Stops charging after a few days
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great until it stopped charging. Attempted having this product but I exchanged it way too many times. Something always went wrong. But twice it stopped charging. And another time, one ear bud stopped working. Finally had to give up on it.

Could find better earbuds.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was too bulky at the mic so it did not look good. Also, it was heavier on one side so I did not like it as much. I would prefer other earbuds at the same price. It was nice that I got these on sale, but wasn't nice enough to keep.

It's fine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine. The battery life isn't that long, but for the most part it's decent. Just sucks that now as of today they aren't charging at all. Even after following the company's suggestion. I only had them for a month. Totally not worth it.

Solid sound quality and value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a number of wired and wireless headphones over the years. I found the Jaybird Tarah Wireless headphones to have great sound quality for the price. In my first few workout sessions of using the headphones, the charge seemed to hold well. So far they seem to be water resistant as I worked up a good sweat during my last workout. Being able to adjust the settings on the sound was a great feature as I like more midrange and high-end than I do a big booming bass. I also like the options on the size of the earbud. This is a must-have now for earbud-type headphones. Overall, I like these headphones and would recommend them to anyone looking for wireless headphones.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stopped connecting to my phone and the app after 14 days. A shade over 3 months old and basically useless
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these for a shade over 3 months and used them maybe 15 times while running, riding and mowing. The right speaker cuts out non stop and sometimes quits working all together for minutes on end. Completely unhappy and do not recommend to anyone. My several years old JBL mini reflects make these look like $5 entry level headphones.

Poor quality and fit
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They have to fit PERFECTLY in your ear for the full sound to be delivered. I have tried the different size ear pieces provided and they just don't work very well. Probably just poor quality.

Don't buy if you have large face
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size of this earphone is really small. It doesn't fit my ears. If you have a big/round face don't go for it. It will be really uncomfortable if you put it in both the ears

Just OK
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is so so. I can’t get a good fit with any of the parts. I bought these because Terah Pro’s cracked. I miss being able to wear the cables over or under the ears.

do not charge after six months
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They worked great for six months, then they would not charge. I would not buy these again. I will go with a less expensive pair in the future that work just as well. Frustrating no fixes work.

Just OK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a replacement for my X3's that failed, thought the Tarah would be comparable - they're not. The frequency response is terrible compared to the X3. Pay a bit extra for the X4's at least.

Posted .Hi BananaHammock,
We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing connectivity issues with your Jaybird Tarah and we'd like to help please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
If you experience issues with the audio cutting in and out, or dropping out, try the following suggestions.
-Move your earbuds and your Bluetooth audio device closer as you may be experiencing Bluetooth interference. While the range of most Bluetooth devices is 10 meters (33 feet), the optimal range for any Bluetooth stereo device is about 60 centimeters (2 feet) from the audio source.
-Your earbuds Bluetooth antenna is located in the inline remote. Try moving your audio device closer to the side where the inline remote is located. For example, you can try moving your audio device to your right pocket instead of your left.
-Reset your Bluetooth connection by turning your device's Bluetooth off for one minute and then back on.
-Turn your audio device off and then back on.
-Complete a reset of your earbuds.

Do not hold a charge and disconnect randomly

Sound great but is uncomfortable to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used countless wireless earbuds like these and I have always loved using Jaybird products in the past. These sound great and also uses Jaybird’s app to be able to customize the sound signature from them. This comes included only with the speed cinch which allows you to make the cable fit around you neck so it doesn’t bounce around and 3 sizes of silicone ear tips that is with the fins. They fit in my ears fine but compared to their other headphone that just came out the X4 these are uncomfortable even when you compare the silicone ear tips. Besides the fit for $99 you get earbuds that is IP67 rated so it’s waterproof and it has a 6 hour battery life. These if you’re fine with the silicone ear tips and for your ears more comfortably then for the price you don’t gain anything going for the X4.

Terribly uncomfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the most uncomfortable pairs of wireless headphones I have ever worn. They do not stay comfortably on the neck, and they constantly shift from one side to the other thanks to the terrible weight distribution. The material sticks to your skin and the audio feels like it's hurting my ears. I would not recommend buying these headphones.

Posted .Hi Drew,
We're sorry to hear that the Jaybird Tarah did not meet your expectations with regard to fit and we'd like to help. Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
Your earbuds should feel secure in your ears:
— Gently shake your head left to right to make sure your earbuds are secure.
Your earbuds should feel comfortable in your ear:
— If you feel too much pressure anywhere on your ear, try a smaller size eargel.
You will notice some sound isolation from surrounding noise.
To get the ideal fit, it is recommended that you use the ‘Find Your Fit’ feature within the Jaybird App. This offers a guided fit video and a way to check your fit.
