I run about 4 times a week and have used these headphones for 4 weeks now. I love them. They sound terrific. The connection has been flawless (I have an iPhone 7). The best feature...they tell you the battery percentage when you power them on. The second best feature is the controls aren’t on the earpiece so I am not cramming them in my ear when I adjust the. Volume or change the song. Highly recommended.

I’m a fan of the Jaybird collection, I’ve also used other jaybird wireless headphones before and liked them as well. But like most things there is always a couple drawbacks. The standard war piece covers that it came with didn’t hold in my ear. I switched to a different style of ear cover that comes with headphones. But always check to make sure your headphones come with different styles of ear piece covers. Next would be the sound. It plays crystal clear, but depending on what music app I’m using the volume does have different limits. Using Spotify, I’d like it to be a bit louder. Using YouTube, it sometimes is too loud. There is a jaybird app that always you to switch the settings of your headphones for different styles of music and that’s a huge deal for me. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, hence my overall rating. But just minor adjustments that I feel are more just suited to me and not really a flaw of the product, itself.

I have owned Jaybird X3s and X4s in the past. The sound for Jaybird products has always been excellent and easy to adjust with the Jaybird App. The Tarah model seems to have a more secure in-ear fit with some other structural improvements that I suspect will greatly increase water and sweat resistance. I am very pleased so far. This was actually a second pair that I purchased for a friend as the price was so good.

I bought these as a gift for my stepfather for Christmas. He says the sound quality is exceptional. They are also a nice weight and do not interfere with your ability to move around. If you work in the yard a lot these provide the added security of draping lightly around your neck so they aren't easily lost. You should definitely consider these as a viable alternative to purchasing AirPods.

These are great. The quality of the sound is great. The battery life is pretty good. Only thing that I am having an issue with is when I’m playing music and then I get a phone call. It doesn’t seem to connect. Not sure if it’s my pair that’s messed up or the product in general.

For the price they're pretty good, I bought them on clearance. My issue is while in use they will say 'Connecting...', but they are already connected. A plus is that the charge lasts a good while, and the recharge pretty quickly.

The sound is good but I feel it could be better even with the application EQ. They are not loud enough but the rubber tips help block out outside sound. The calling/mic on these is excellent and the battery life is great!

These work great! I love how you can use them for making phone calls. They fit snug in your ear so well that I usually let the other hang out when I make calls. I got them for half off too! They also sounds pretty good. Love the clip! My only complaint is that they probably could've designed it to not use the separate charging dongle. If I lose it, I'd have to buy a new one.

These earbuds (Jaybird - Tarah )sound amazing. Battery life is pretty good. I sometimes have them in my ears for 6hrs at a time. I really like them. I removed the factory earbuds that came with my Tarah and replaced them with my Comply cushions from my old Jaybird X3. They fit. You just won't have the ear hook, which is no big deal.

Looking for In Ear Monitors (IEMs)? Here are some tips regardless of brand: 1. Budget $20 for aftermarket earbud tips. You might get lucky and be happy with a pair that comes with your new IEMs. Chances are, though - especially if they come with tips made of something other than foam - you will have issues with sub-optimal seal with your ear, which results in poor bass response. 2. Take 5 minutes to read "The Ultimate Guide to Selecting the Perfect IEM Ear Tips" at Headphonesty (no affiliation with site). 3. I've used IEMs for nearly 20 years. I am willing to pay $20 every year or so for a new three-pack of Comply foam tips due to the comfort and seal they provide. In the past I've happily used triple flange silicone eartips for exercise, though, which provided a great seal and were very durable, but became a bit uncomfortable when working out for longer than an hour or so. On to the Jaybird Tarah IEMs. Understand what they are before you buy them. More accurately, understand what they are not. They are not a pair of Beats over the ear headphones designed to rattle your brain with prodigious bass. Surprisingly, these go lower than some over the ear studio/monitor headphones I have owned, though. The sonic signature of these are definitely studio monitors, but with equalization these will pump plenty of midbass (the lowest you can expect with drivers this size) to give a warmer than neutral sonic presentation with nice "slam." Careful listeners and audiophiles will detect some coloration in the midrange with the Tarahs. It isn't distracting by any means, though; it's very subtle, and if you're using these for exercise as most of us do you'll probably never notice. I was about to give these 4 stars due to the coloration and call it 4.5 in my review, but while listening to music from my phone through these "Funkytown" started playing. Son of a gun, if I didn't just have an audio cliche occur: I heard something I'd never heard in the song: cowbells. Yeah, the cowbells are noticeable during much of the song, but they fade far back into the background at one point. They fade so far back that I don't recall noticing them at that point previously. I sure noticed them a few minutes ago, and they convey a shocking sense of space or soundstage depth for a $79 pair of IEMs. That demonstration of detail and soundstaging makes them an easy 5 stars at this price. (Insert well-deserved jokes about listening to "Funkytown" here. What can I say? It's in my 70s playlist.) Lastly, I recommend downloading the Jaybird app and using its equalization. Spend some time when you're in a quiet place to focus on the sound while tweaking the stock settings. You'll be richly rewarded for as long as you own the Tarahs. I also tried using the EQ in my Pulsar Pro app, but for reasons I can't explain I find the EQ in the Jaybird app *far* superior, especially in the bass region. Let me finish where I started: you must have a good seal between your ear and the earbud tips to evaluate the sonic merits of IEMs. It's an inescapable truth. Jaybird sells the Comply foam tips, which is coincidentally what I've used for the last few years, but there are other reliable brands as well. When shopping, be sure to look for comments about the fit of the tip on the IEM post; many cheap tips wear out quickly and the IEMs fall out, leaving the foam tips stuck (perhaps deep) in your ear. Happy shopping!

Too bad these are discontinued. I use them while working in the garden and they stay in and are comfortable and the sound is great and also the range that they cover is much further than the multitudes of other earbuds I’ve had. I must have dozens of the little white stick ones “growing” in my garden when they fell out and got lost.

I have been using these headphones at the gym for a few months now and these are definitely the best ones I have come across thus far. I had various pairs of cheap headphones and a pair of beats X at one point and none have held up like these and have great quality sound. Was so impressed that even my wife bought a pair. Highly recommend.
