I really wanted these to be good simply because the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, they weren't'. The sound was awful and they were uncomfortable. Took them back immediately. There are better options

I bought these headphones last August. The past few weeks I have been having issues with them - they wouldn't turn on. I googled how to fix them, tried resetting them, and would be able to turn them on about every third time. It was annoying to reset them when I was trying to run before work, but at least they turned on. They have progressively gotten worse and worse since then, and today during my run they shut off in the middle of it. I was fortunate enough to buy these at half off, but wish I would have bought a different brand. These are junk and I do not recommend them.

Probably Best Bluetooth Headset You Can Get

I own a "no-name" (Soundot) bluetooth headset which I would recommend over my over-priced Beats2 any day for sound quality and value. However, they both pale in comparison to these X2s. The X2 sound is very clear. The foam earbuds are wonderful for creating that rich sound texture you get from over ear head phones. (Just take the time to get these properly adjusted to YOUR ears. If they don't sound as good as advertised it's because they are not inserted correctly. Trust me. It took me two days to get the right fit but when I did...I was blown away by how good they sound and feel). The ear wings are ingenious and totally secure. I play tennis in these and the only problem I have is I can't hear the sound of the ball or my opponent whining about the shots I hit past his ears! LOL! These are pricey but if you have to pay for what you get, you get what you pay for with these. Totally worth it. My one and ONLY gripe is that I bought the Storm (white) version. They have become discolored and I can't get them back white so they look dingy (which is not a good look in your ears). I would suspect that you would have the same issue with any of the colors so get these in black and enjoy!

I go to the gym approximately 5 days a week and use ear buds. I haven't had a pair of earbuds (wireless) last more than 6 months. These were no different. Glad I finally started buy Best Buy warranty.

I bought these gave them a fair shot for 3 days, then returned them and purchased the Monster Adidas Sport Adistar, which retails for $80 less and I like better.
Sound: Good, clean, clear, sound signature. Delivers a surprising amount of bass for 6mm drivers, which will satisfy most (except for bass-heads). Good soundstage.
Fit: Average. Took literally 30 mins. to try and get a good fit combination of ear tips and fins. Got a secure fit, but it was a bit uncomfortable. I have it a few days, and although secure, it never got better. It left a portion of my upper ear fold raw and sensitive.
Bluetooth: Good range, but it's nothing you wouldn't expect at this price range. Actually, the Monster Adidas Sport Adistar has better range. "SignalPlus", whatever that is or does, amounts to no added real-world benefit.
Mic/Calls: Callers reported my voice sounded clear and near. Nobody specifically knew I was on an earbud mic until...I began to move around. The mic is good if left in place, however, based on my experience, if you're raising your arms or moving around, such that there is some obstruction #not entirely# in front of the mic, it has trouble picking your voice up.
Overall, solid and definitely above average, however, I was expecting to be "WOWd" at this price point, but I was not. At a lower price, I was totally floored with the overall performance of the Monster Adidas Sport Adistar Bluetooth earbuds, which I recommend over the X2s.

When looking for a earplug to work out with I wouldn't recommend this one. This is uncomfortable and it falls off your ear when jogging. It's cool looking but, besides that nothing worth jogging with!!!

The headphones were recommended by a few people in the store. Our original purchase in the store were the Beats Sport Headphone. They didn't charge after 3 days. We returned them & rec'd a store credit to put towards another selection. The JayBird headphones were recommended by a few employees. I bought them & they stopped working after 4 days. They are recommended for working out & I was hoping they would be great. Not so much. Back to the drawing board.

Broke after 2 months

Item was initially great, but broke within 2 months. 1 mo into it, the green light that turns on when charging disappeared (but it still charged). Then, I noticed that the battery didn't have the same capacity (from 6.5 hours to 4 hours). 1.5 mos into it, it would turn off randomly while I'm using it in the gym and the buttons stopped working (I had to plug them into a USB port for them to work again). Then... it just stopped working. $10 bluetooth headphones on Amazon lasted longer (and sounded very similarly). Would not recommend.

Bought this to replace an older Jaybird model and feel 5 years in technology advances hasn't changed the earbuds much. Loose charge quickly and don't fit my ears very well.

Great Headphones

Coming from the first gen of these headphones there are great. They feel comfortable. Yes I've read other reviews stating that there's a slight less volume. It's true, is it a lot? No. Should this discourage you from trying them out? No. Anyone who has used the first gen knows that when you press the volume up/down there' s always that annoying beep per press. The 2nd gen doesn't have that problem. I love them. They last me roughly 8hrs of use before they have to be charged again. I

X2 might guarantee against wear and tear but does not go beyond 9 months and it's battery starts acting up. Their support would keep on trying to prolong your agony by recommending to reset and it works for a while until you reach the 12-month expiration of your warranty and booom! Might as well throw it away. In short, do not buy any products from this company if you don't expect to discard them away in under a year. No support whatsoever once your warranty is up.

I had these for a month then the stop working. The looked brand new, but they won't charge. The number one reason I got these was because people had positive customer service reviews. I haven't had a great trip. So. I had them for a month and now I am waiting for another month to get a new pair. So if you are like me reading reviews keep in mind. The customer service is very poor.

With the Jaybird X2 it's all about the fit. The silicon bud covers don't cut it - they are slippery and as such don't stay in your ears, so use the foam covers. They're great.
Originally I wasn't that impressed - the sound was tinty because I wasn't getting a good fit in both ears. With some exploration I realized that my ears are slightly different shape and size - not really a revelation when you think about it, but it took about a week for me to figure out that I needed one size fin for my left ear and the slightly smaller one for the right ear. Once I put them in with the different fins it was perfect!
Overall Bluetooth Headphones aren't going to sound as good as over-the-ear cans. That said, the sound quality here is fantastic for music. For podcasts and speaking it still sounds a little hollow but for music it's great.

I bought the bluebuds x and was hoping for better battery life. That's about all I got with the Jaybird X2's. Sound was worse and fit was worse than bluebuds x. To top it all off after only having it three weeks, they developed a short in the cord so music kept going in and out. Also had the issue where I had to keep it in my right pants pocket for some strange reason. I returned them for some powerbeats wireless and can't be happier.
