The Jaybird X2s are my most recent purchase and these are the ones I will be keeping. If you plan on purchasing these, be prepared to cancel your afternoon appointments because you will be spending the next several hours trying on different tips and “ear fins” included in the packaging. You may want to plug these in as soon as you take them out of the box. Pop the cap on top of the right earbud which exposes the micro usb charging port. While you’re waiting for the unit to charge, go straight to Jaybird’s Online User Guide which was very helpful in determining how the headphones were intended to be worn. While using these in the gym, they performed very well. Using them for running was a huge disappointment. The minute I started to sweat, the right earbud would fall out. I was using the foam “Comply” tips which provided better comfort than the silicone tips but nothing I did improved the fit situation. The ear fins simply were not enough to keep them locked in my ears. Switching to a larger fin did not accommodate the shape of my ear. This is where the “JBL Reflect Mini” headphones excelled. JBL had this figured out. The ear tip on the JBL was a molded ear fin/insert that was one single piece made of the “Comply” memory foam. It’s too bad I can’t have my Jaybird X2s with the JBL ear piece. The more solutions I tried, the more annoyed I became that I dropped $150 (on sale) for these “Sport” headphones that don’t stay in my ear while doing anything “Sport” related. I will be searching for aftermarket solutions to keep these things in my ears but after dropping $150, I feel like I really shouldn’t have to. The bottom line is that these sound great for a BT earbud - however that great sound is contingent on a great fit, which is something these are lacking. Of the sport headphone variety, these sound the best out of all I have tried (“Plantronics Backbeat Fits” also sound very good). The battery life is exceptional. I will be keeping these despite their ridiculous flaws because I am convinced that once I get the fit figured out I will love these like I'm supposed to. The two star rating is deserved because at $150 or more, these should be staying in my ear.

    No MultiPoint :-(

As far as the audio quality goes, the X2's are great. Good balance of bass and clarity with a solid connection to the device sending the audio. That little cap with the 'plastic-thread' covering the charging port is breakage waiting to happen -- very fragile. While you can pair up to 8 devices with the headphones, only 1 can be connected at a time -- no Bluetooth Multipoint. With Multipoint, more than 1 of the paired devices can be connected, although only 1 at a time can receive audio. One example of the benefit of Multipoint: say you're listening to a TV show via Bluetooth on your FireTV, and your smartphone is also connected to the headphones. There's an incoming call, the headphones alert you and you accept the call; the television show pauses automatically and when you finish the call pressing play on the headphones resumes the TV show. Multipoint has been available for years, consumers have come to expect it -- especially in a $200 (after tax) headphone that went to market in 2015.

I love these headphones! Great sound, long battery life, and low profile look. Way cooler than the collar headphones. I use them with comply foam tips and they stay in my ears without having to use the admittedly awkward wings. Wearing over the ears/behind the head is good for running as it minimizes the sound of the wire bouncing with your step. I also like Jaybirds, they have solid customer support.

This product is certainly comfortable, and it has a kosher fit for some people. The sound quality is pleasant, along with an commendable bass. Either way these headphones are great for traveling, especially for working out.

The jay birds are 10 times better than the power beats and give an extra two hours of battery. With a comfortable fit they out shine the power beats which starts to hurt after look hours of wear unlike the jay birds

Great Sound....If you can get the right fit

These fall into the category of "love 'em or hate 'em". Personally I think they sound great! They have the perfect balance of sound, with just the right amount of bass. The biggest setback is trying to get them to fit correctly. I take these on long bike rides and short jogs. For bike rides, they stay on just fine, but after almost 3 months, I still can't figure out how to get them to stay put while jogging! I'm starting to think that I just have funny shaped ears or something. I've tried every included variation of wings and tips and can't figure it out. But these still deserve 4 stars, simply because they sound so good when I go bike riding. I'd still recommend these, just be prepared to struggle to find the right fit for you.

    Good Headphones Minor problems

So the sound quality on these headphones are great . The connectivity is even better very seamless connection. Also have great range in wingtip and earbud sizes that can be customized. The problems I've had with these are more annoying things than glaring problems. For instance it sounds like people are far away in calls. My biggest problem was if you only have one ear in the way the cord is made it will try to extend and push the there side farther and father down until it is pulling on your neck. Outside of these problems i enjoyed them also good setup for working out.

    Best in it's class

Although it's rather pricey, it does offer the best sound quality and design for the money. There is horrendous amount of bass( which I love), yet does not sacrifice the amazing clarity in the highs. The buttons on the volume controller is very nice to touch and navigate through songs. The flat cable design is impressive, which eliminates tangling and offers a sleek and trendy look. Sadly, with all the pros said, I had to return these because it does not fit my ear perfectly. I prefer a flatter ear piece design where it can sit flush in my ear instead of protruding out my ear. I experience slippage out of my ear while fast jogging. But putting that aside, these earphones definitely worth trying.

I bought a pair a year ago, and I am now on my 3rd set. I use them exclusively for running, and though after some trial and error I found they fit well in my ear, the reliability of the product leaves a lot to be desired. As I said I am on my 3rd pair and those broke again last night. I've returned a pair because one of the ear buds quit working, the second pair I returned because they shut off after 10 minutes of use for no reason, even on a full charge. My 3rd set turned off in the middle of a run yesterday and wont charge or turn back on. I'm done with these headphones. Guess I will try a cheap pair now and see how they work.

The Jaybird X2 aren't bad headphones. They have some great sound, look cool, and hold a charge for a long time. However, I found that they don't always stay in my ears very well, even with the sport comfort eartips. I'm only working out at the gym, so I'm not running around or jumping up and down often. Also one of my comply eartips is starting to break after only 2-3 weeks so I'm disappointed in the build quality there. If you can get them cheap, they're great. If not, don't waste your money.

I've been looking for bluetooth wireless headphones forever. I decided on these after reading reviews for these and the Beats. Lots of options for ear tips and clips, which was nice. However, when I tried to use them running, the music kept going out (and my iPod was only in my pocket). The ear tips were also uncomfortable (I used the smallest ones). I've been through many pairs of headphones in my lifetime (I love music), and the only ear tips that I've found that work are the Bose ones b/c you don't have to shove them in your ear canal. I think these would be fine if you don't have problems with small ears or shoving tips in your ear canal, but they just weren't for me, so I returned them.

I really wanted to like these headphones

I have had a pair of Jaybird Freedom 3 headphones for a couple of years and while I really like them there are a couple of things that bothered me. 1) The earpieces were big and bulky. 2) The bluetooth does not work well outside. When I saw the X2 on sale for $75 I jumped on the chance to upgrade. I figured I could eliminate my 2 issues with the Freedom 3 and keep the same sound in the new X2's. Well the X2's are smaller, the bluetooth connection when is great but the sound quality and fit are not good. The first time I tried them it sounded like they were defective with no bass at all. I tried all the earpieces. I tried wearing them under ear and over ear. I changed the equalizer settings on my iPhone. I changed the depth in the ear and could never get the same or better sound I had with the Freedom 3. If I was able to get an acceptable sound it never lasted long because the earpieces don't stay in place. Even when I had them as tight as possible in my ear there is still wind noise. The part that goes into the ear canal is much shorter than my old pair. I'm sure that has a lot to do with my issues. The foam earpieces are junk. After using them just 6 times they tear and are no good. Unfortunately, I will be going back to my Freedom 3 until Jaybird can improve these headphones.

    Best wireless earphones I've owned

I bought them to replaced damaged sol Republic headphones, I've owned different types of brands like Lg tone, jabra, Motorola, Sol Republic, and no one offers really water or sweat resistant. I'm impressed how they resist under the rain, or heavy sweat, the only complaint is that is hard when I put and remove motorcycle helmet earbuds are little big for that but the other features compensate that little issue. Best headphones out there.

This is my 2nd pair of X2s. I've owned every one of the Jaybird BT headphones so this is the best one so far. I haven't tried the new Freedom F5s but why would I pay $50 more to get an app and to get the full 8 hours of battery, I need to add the clip? And the worse part of the new Freedom F5s? If you lose that battery clip, you can't charge the battery. I'll take the X2 any day over the new Freedom F5. Since my other pair if black, I went with the white pair to distinguish. The white pair has a cheap look. Go with the black pair.

    Great All Around Wireless Earbuds

These earbuds are very good overall. They are compact and comfortable. What sets them apart from others is the connection quality and sound quality. I have other Bluetooth headphones. Some cheap and some expensive, but these keep the connection better than those. I listened to diverse genre's of music. These headphones are great for that as they are solid in all genres. The one caveat maybe is I exercise in these but not jarring motions. I can see how these could be less secure if you were a runner or doing something similar .

The presentation was great. Comes with everything you need to listen to music. Unfortunately they did not pair very good with my iPhone 6s Plus. Every time I have to try and pair the buds 2 or 3 times. I have to click forget device every time and repair it. Sometimes it takes 10 to 15 minutes to paid because they don't show up. Sound is excellent though.
