Durable and waterproof

I purchased these when my BeatsX went bad and had to be returned to Apple for repair.
Durability- The waterproof feature is what hooked me because I believe my delicate BeatsX shorted out while I was doing yard work.
The Jaybirds are lightweight and the chord is shorter than the BeatsX, but the housing for the earbud is sturdier.
Sound quality- BeatsX has a slight advantage
Battery And Charging- BeatsX has a big advantage. The Jaybirds have an 8 hour battery life but the charging adapter is less than ideal. The little black charging attachment is easy to misplace and it’s only about 2 inches long.
Biggest upside of this product is that I was able to purchase BB’s 2 years product replacement plan. If something goes wrong I can walk them into BB and swap them out... but BeatsX products have a one year warranty and that product has to be serviced by Apple

Great sound, but....

The Jaybird X3 has great sound, much better than the X2. Deeper sounding bass, and better clarity of mid and high notes. Battery life is about 6 hrs, and a female voice tells you the battery’s percentage when you turn them on. The “but....” has to do with the charging. Logitech uses a clamp-on style charger which has exposed leads that over time lose the ability to charge due to electrical arcing between the charging clamp and the earbud set. It’s not big enough to start a fire but will damage the electrodes over time. You can minimize this by connecting the clamp to the X3 before plugging the charging cable into whatever USB charger you prefer. Logitech will replace the complete set within the first year from the date of purchase for free, just make sure you have the original receipt to prove date of purchase.

I originally had a pair of X2's that I loved. However, they got stolen, so I decided to get the X3's and I am just as pleased with these ones. The battery life is great and I can usually get the estimated time out of them. The sound quality is great, especially paired with their EQ app. I personally prefer bass heavy listening, and was not disappointed. The highs are also clear as well. One of the greatest points for me is their water resistance. I use them while working out and running, and they stay in my ears very very snuggly, especially with foam earpieces.

These headphones have quickly become my favorite. With the foam ear pieces, they do a great job of blocking out external noise. Good sound quality and still haven’t dropped the signal. After several hours with them in my ears, I was surprised that my ears weren’t fatigued. After taking them out I did notice some sensitivity but definitely not pain. They stay in place during exercise with no issues. The adjustability on the app is awesome. Love to adjust highs and lows depending on mood or genre.

Great Sound! (But Be Careful)

First and foremost these earphones are awesome! I highly recommend them because of the great sound, the great fit in my ears, and the cool Jaybird app feature that lets me customize the sound. And I got these at a great price!
Secondly, these earphones might even work too well. Let me explain. The sound of these earphones is so great, and they block external noise so well that if you’re not careful, then you will not hear the runner/walker/bicyclist/ attacker/car/etc. approaching you from behind. I speak from experience because I had a close call happen to me twice. Luckily, each time I was being a courteous runner and running to the far right of the path each time and nothing bad happened to me or the people approaching me from behind. No one was bumped, knocked over, spit on, or worse yet, injured. In the first incident, if I had decided to suddenly veer to my left without first looking behind me, then I would have been knocked over by a bicyclist... and/or harmed the bicyclist. Another time, if I hadn’t looked over my shoulder, then I would’ve accidentally spit on a group of ladies who were running past me on the trail. So, please keep in mind that if you buy these earphones and wear them outdoors on a run, walk, or bike ride, then please be sure you’re courteous (and safe) and *always* look over your shoulder to see if anyone is behind you before you decide to change lanes, spit, or do anything else that would affect the safety of the people you’re sharing the path with... and yourself.
On a side note: After I bought the Jaybird X3s they went on sale and dropped in price *twice* within the few weeks leading up to Christmas. But the folks in Customer Service at my local Best Buy (Henderson, NV) were great about refunding the difference to me each time the price dropped within the few weeks I bought them, and they did so with no hassles.

I am very impressed with the battery life of this device. It fits very comfortably. The only negative is that it doesn't eliminate background noise while on the phone. The sound quality is also great.

First time purchasing bluetooth headsets. I read reviews and talked to several people that used bluetooth headsets. I decided to buy. Jaybird has good reviews and reputation for headsets. I like the battery life, fit, and sound quality. The price point is reasonable.
Listening to music on runs is usually nice. They tend to make weird noise when near other powerful radio signals. Phone calls are a hit or miss, mostly miss. Calls are usually broken, like packet loss, or barely audible. When the call works it is flawless.
For exercise only, I would recommend them. For calls, I do not reccomend.
My phone is a note 8. There should not be any technical issues.

Comfortable Fit

These fit nicely and come with different types/sizes of tips and fins, carrying pouch, and charging cable. They can be worn two different ways. I find them to be comfortable and so far they have stayed in place during use. Something that can be considered both a pro and con is that they completely block out all background noise. While this is probably fine in the home it could pose a danger elsewhere. It's possible they could be adjusted slightly in the ear or maybe have a smaller tip put on to correct that. I haven't had any issues with the battery life but I do not usually wear them for more than 30 minutes to an hour at a time. I've had to charge them once a week or less. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I first purchased the blubuds x when they first came out, which were awesome. I then switched to the freedoms which, honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of due to the new placement of the battery. It weighed the buds down and caused them to fall out of my ears all too often, even with the ear hooks. Once the X3's came out I waited a while for others to review them and see if it was the same case, thankfully it was not! These are really well balanced and stay in my ears without any issues! While I am still not a fan of the proprietary charging clip, I think Jaybird did a really good job with these. The sound out of the box is great and the app does a fantastic job with allowing one to customize the sound to their liking. I really do not have anything negative so say about the X3's. These have great sound, really comfortable, look cool and don't stick out from your ears as much as the blue buds. I feel like I got my money's worth with these and will keep them until they stop working, which will probably be a while.

I purchased these wireless headphones to wear when I run. I really like the wing tips, they fit into my ear well and hold the ear pods in place quite well without moving around during my run. The sound quality is quite nice also. There is deep base and they are well balanced, which surprised me. They charge quickly and have a long lasting batter life of 8 continuous hours of play. My only drawback is that they started to have a slight crackling noise in the left headphone when I pair it with my phone. I may see if I can return for another pair in hopes that it was just this set. Overall, great pair of in hear headphones for someone on the go and who appreciates quality sound.

I have the powerbeats 3 and the Jaybird 3 are way better in all aspects. sound. comfort and price.
powerbeats 3 is better just on battery life nothing else.
jaybird will reduce the noise up to 75% with the right ear tips. It does come with 3 foam and 3 regular ones.
The powerbeats sound is good but there is no way to reduce the noise. after a few hours of use, your ears will hurt.
Jaybird has a app that will help you to adjust the sound . base. clasic. jass , etc. they fit much better than the powerbeats 3.
only cons is the charger. you need to have the charger clip with you all the time if you use them all they. ( I work 10-12 hour a day ) do not lose the charger clip because they don't sell it yet. battery life is what they promise 8 hours,

These are my second set of wireless headphones. The first set I had from a different manufacturer were not that good and I ended up going back to ironman edition sweat proof yurbud headphones. Upon purchasing an iPhone 7 I knew it was time to upgrade. After asking several friends and readings reviews, I purchased the jaybirds. They are as comfortable and as loud as my yurbuds but without the hassle of wires. Battery life is good too. Finding ear buds that fit wasn't that hard either given that jaybird gives you 3 different sets of ear buds to find your desired fit. They work very well at the gym and last through a few good hour long gym sessions. I especially like the available app that lets you customize your listening preferences. All in all I would definitely recommend these to someone who is looking for a good set of wired headphones for the gym or regular daily use.

Love these. They are my first in-ear buds. Prior to these I used Beats Studio Wireless. I still have those ... but can't use them in the gym cause I swear too much. I read a lot of reviews and studied all options before settling on these, and I don't regret my purchase at all; I like that I can tweak the sound using the app, AND IT GETS SAVED TO THE BUDS, so It doesn't matter what device they are paired too... they play music exactly as I selected the equalizer in the app. Pretty cool. If I had to come up with a small negative it would be the proprietary charging clip you have to use to charge them, but I just keep that in the mophie case I use for them. I also ordered an extra one from the manufacturers to keep in my car "just in case" --- overall these are light, loud, fit well in my ears and are completely sweat proof. Highly recommend!!!!!

Left my first pair on a plane and couldn't do without them after already going through many other brands including Beats. I've even bought a pair for a raffle giveaway so I could share my enjoyment with others. Great battery life, quality and sound not surpassed ... the only draw back I would say is the specialized charger but still worth the one annoyance.

I purchased these based on the great track record Jaybird seems to have built up, being the third generation in their X line I jumped on the opportunity to purchase the X3 on release. They are simply the best wireless earphones by far that they actually beat most wired ones i've also used. The battery claims hold up and the connectivity is solid, the way it instantly pairs with everything I own that has bluetooth all at the same time on power on is fantastic and convenient. The Comply ear-tips have kept the buds in my ear for more than 3 hours at a time with great comfort and isolate an incredible amount of outside noise. The only thing I can potentially point out as a negative is the charging method with involves clicking the control unit located on the wire into a tiny usb powered dock. I was immediately annoyed by this but after a few days I can say thats its a perfectly good way to charge it and is actually more convenient than plugging in a micro usb cable as you can clip on the X3 charger with just one hand. Jaybird's MySound app is a great way of seeing exactly how much juice is left in the buds and the sound tuning possible with it is amazing. At the launch price of 129.99 these are much cheaper than any other Jaybird earphones at launch and are totally worth it. If you found my review helpful please mark it as so and thanks for reading.

They are perfect. I wear these to exercise only, but with their comfortability, I wouldn’t mind wearing them outside of the gym. However, I use the Bose QC for such settings outside of the gym. Their audio quality is good; the bass is punchy. I’d recommend these. I returned my fully wireless Jaybird earphones for these, and I won’t be going back.

Best earbuds I have tried. Love being able to change the sound settings. Excellent sound. Seeing the X3's battery life on phone is great. The X3s have far better sound quality, and much more bass than my girlfriend's Beats: Wireless Powerbeats even though the Powerbeats are a touch louder. The Powerbeats are more bulky, and the trend seems to be going smaller and smaller, but I still like how the Powerbeats feel on my ears a little better than the X3s. I have only had the X3s for a little bit ,so maybe that will change because they are getting more comfortable every time I wear them, and how they fit on someone's ear is very personal to the individuals' ears. My only complaint is minor: would be nice to have a better carrying case for people who travel.

Purchased these after a fairly extensive review of their updated features. Previously, I owned the x2's and enjoyed the sense of freedom of cutting the cord, but unfortunately they weren't too comfortable, even with the various sets of earbuds. Fast forward to the x3. Fitment wise, I was able to achieve a good comfort level with these, limiting outside noise and staying put during runs, agility workouts and even some HIIT sessions. Sound wise, the improvements they've made have hands down made these earbuds awesome for all genres of music. I myself have found EDM being my go to, and the clarity and bass are excellent. Battery life is compatible to the x2, but upon startup provides a voice notification of the battery life. Charging the x3 is unlike the micro USB from the x2 as it uses a small charging connector that attaches to the control pod on the earbuds. Lose that little guy and you'll be looking for a replacement. Now here is my biggest issue - Range/connectivity. With the x2, I was able to achieve a range of 65-70 ft before songs would begin to become choppy and the connection would drop. With the x3, no more than 30 ft before songs begin to become choppy and signal is dropped. As for the connectivity issues, occasionally the connection becomes erratic, and songs will become choppy, even within feet of my phone. Honestly, this was an issue I had with the x2 as well, but it wasn't as prevalent as now. As a solution, I've found positioning my phone a little higher off the ground usually fixes the issue. Finally, the Jay bird app as great as it is, is still a work in progress. For myself, if I do not connect to the x3 with my device prior to opening the app, I will repeatedly receive "headphones connected" notification. The only fix I've found is disconnecting the earbuds from my device, closing the app, reconnecting to the earbuds, and then opening the app. Because of this, I stay away from the app.
All-in-all, the x3 is a definite improvement from the x2 in regards to sound and comfort, but it's lack in range may interfere with workouts that involve some movement away from your source of music.

This is my second jaybird headset that I have used. I have tried the Bose sport, and the beats headsets. Both of those feel clunky and bulky to me. This set feels incredibly light and does not seem to bother me near as much. The sound and fit are great, and I enjoy how the buttons were upgraded as they seem more durable.

I have not a single bad thing to say about these headphones. The battery life is impressive and when it does die it charges super fast. I primarily use them at work and working out. I have not had any issues with them falling out of my ears and they are comfortable enough to wear most of the day without discomfort. The sound is great but for some reason I am unable to get them to connect to the app to adjust the sound profile - only reason I did not give 5 stars.
