Big fan of jbird . Picked these up on sale and thought they would be not as good as my X2.. I was wrong these have the best fit of any ear buds.. these don't slip.at all and are comfortable..sound is better then X2 and that is impressive.. only draw back is case and charging wish they would still charge in ear bud not on control and new charging dock isn't great.. for $129 or less total steal.. avoid freedoms as they don't sound this good and fail consistently if u are a heavy sweater..

These are by far the best I've ever experienced for daily / sports-type earbuds. I've tried a wide variety and was worried about the silicon ear piece and the fins, but after a small learning curve, I discovered how to properly and thoroughly enjoy them. Having the app is a must. The product itself is extremely minimal and robust at the same time (thank good UI/UX for that).
I'm able to tune my sound quickly by picking my favorite presets (or setting my own prior to starting) and I can enjoy my music quickly thanks to these.
The range is INCREDIBLE and the microphone is more than decent for a bluetooth-type microphone.
The charging is great. Super minimal and I love it for that reason. May be a bit of a problem if you lose it, so there's that.
The fins and ear pieces are a little painful after 6 hours. My longest session with the earbuds and fins on was 6 hours. Exercising with them is really good too. You don't hear much else than your music and breath.
In short, this thin is well worth the price you pay for them!

I bought these headphones, because I had the freedoms before, but these are much better. They fit very securely and the sound is crisp. Bass is just perfect. I have no complaints. This is my favorite brand for wireless earbuds thus far.

* Sound quality is high
* Fit is very customizable
* Comfortable for long periods
* Decent battery life
Sounds amazing with podcasts or music. The fit options for the flanges and buds (squishy or foam, your choice) are amazing. I was able to get it setup for my ear, it doesn't fall out and unlike other headphones I have tried it lets in some street sounds so you don't get run over while working out in the outdoors. The sweat proof special charger is a pain - it is super easy to lose, but additional chargers and ear foams are available for $9.99 directly from Jaybird. Or just tell them you lost it and one time only they will send you a free replacement.

I had a pair of Powerbeats 2 before purchasing these and had to get a replacement under warranty because they just stopped working and the earpiece just cracked on the second pair. They had good sound but I had issues with them fitting as securely in my ear as I wanted them to block out the music and noise at the gym while I worked out. With that being said, I decided to go with something different. I purchased these Jaybird X3’s to see if I would like them better. The smartphone app which lets you modify the sound and lock preselected sounds that others have created is awesome. It allows for personalization from person to person. The fit with the comply foam tips are perfect for me. I no longer hear the gym noise around me. (I originally tried the fit with the cord under my chin but went with the sports fit with the clips behind my head for an amazing fit.) Give these a try if you have had fit issues with other sports headphones and would love the option of customizing your sound with the push of a button.

I really began loving my earbuds after putting in the "squishy" ear pieces! It blocks most outside noise too! They are light weight and comfortable along with being easy to store in the pouch that is provided.
However; do not loose your charger! It is next to impossible to get a replacement!

Outstanding Features with minor issues

Great sound, comfortable, noise excluding fit (lots of options for tips included in box), very good battery life and customizable sound profile through app. Two minor issues are while they made the buds smaller by relocating battery to the volume/mic, the volume/mic piece is now heavier causing it to pull on one ear and slide off your neck when not in the ear (use the collar clip). They also switched to a proprietary charging dongle so can't just use any micro usb cord. Right now can't purchase additional dongles. But overall one of the best choices available and I use them in the gym regularly and they have held up great!

First of all, I just want to share that is the first time I spent over $100 on a set of earbuds. For the past five years, I have been using the same $35 pair, which I purchased online (Amazon) from a relatively unknown manufacturer. I didn't have a problem until recently when I noticed they were starting to fade. Given that, and the fact that I had a gazillion gift cards lying around, I decided to buy into the hype and get a more expensive pair.
From what I have experienced, the Jaybirds X3 are great in terms of sound, design, durability, and sleekness. The one minor drawback is the lack of better size options for the earbuds foam and rubber tips. Sometimes they come loose while you're exercising, which can be extremely annoying. Very often you find yourself stopping your workout to readjust or dry the earbuds. Also, the tips themselves tend to come off sometimes which can be a problem if you are not paying attention. There have been instances where I take off the earbuds and realize that the tips fell somewhere in the gym floor.
Aside from that, in the one month I have had them, the sound is excellent, the battery life is much better compared to similar products (I usually workout for 2 to 2.5 hours each day and also use them throughout the day for calls), and the option to wear them tight behind your head really allows for different types of exercises. All in all, the Jaybirds X3 Sport Wireless In-Ear Headphones are much better than most similar products in the market right now, including the Powerbeats3.

Purchased these after returning JBL mini Reflect BT headphones. The sound on these Jaybirds is FAR superior. Still not amazing, but acceptable for the size. These headphones fit well and come with more options in ear pieces. They have the squishy foam ear pieces for maximum noise canceling and work well to block out my lawnmower and two stroke string trimmer. These come with a bag and I though it was weird, but I actually love having a place to put them and not have them all tangled up. The Bluetooth reception is where these shine. I have no complaints. With my phone in my pocket or even in my golf bag pocket they rarely ever cut out. Inside the house I can leave my phone on the main floor and walk around the entire house without cutting out. The adjoining app is great as it allows you to create your own personal sound and the equalizer works very well. My only complaint is the charging connector. I have major anxiety over losing it as without this little piece of plastic your headphones are useless. It also isn't very intuitive as to how you plug them in. Almost feels like you are going to break it. I like the LED charging light and when you turn them on a voice tells you the charge level as well as a 20% warning. They say battery life is 7-8 hours and I feel that's fair. I've used them all day working on the yard and they are never below 20%. Overall this is a really good product. I give it four stars as the sound quality still leaves me wanting, and for the funky charger. They are good at this price point.

Love these new headphones (bought the green ones since they were on sale)! They have good sound quality, good battery life, and good buttons to use. They fit well and stay in the ear, but take a little time to break into. Glad I purchased these headphones!

I got tired of purchaseing cheap Bluetooth headphones and decided to invest in these X3s. Right out of the box they feel high quality. The sound is excellent and the Jaybird app gives great equalizer control. My music sounds crisp, balanced, and loud; exactly the way I prefer. The over the ear option is awesome. They don't fall out and the cord hugs the back of my head staying out of the way. I was curious about the wings and whether they were going to be comfortable. Not only are they comfortable, but they are functional. I am so glad I got these and highly recommend them.

I have used this product while traveling on the plane and has a great battery that last for about 8 hours. Great sounding that is adjustable by downloading the app on a smart phone or tablet. Comfort rating is about 9 out of 10 for long periods of time.

Bought these for the gym. The fit is great with included Comply ear tips. A little on the bulky side but not bad. They protrude from the ear so don’t put your head against anything solid unless you want some “just the tip” action with the eardrum.
The sound is awesome. The Jaybird app lets you EQ the earbuds to get a signature sound profile just right for you. I was very impressed at what I was able to dial in. I was able to get amazingly good noise isolation once fitted properly. Good enough to drown out the moaners and grunters at the gym. Overall the sound is good but nothing close to the definition you would expect from over the ear cans or high end ear bud.
Upon powering on, the earbuds tell you the amount of battery remaining a huge plus when you’re counting on the earbuds providing the tunes during a session of gains.
The only issue I have with these buds is that when you double tap the power switch it doesn’t skip to the next song on a consistent basis. I’d give these a solid 5 stars if it wasn’t for this issue.
The provided storage bag is flimsy and will not provide any tangible protection. If you throw them in a gym bag with shoes and other stuff, prepare to buy another pair.
If you are on the fence, buy them. You will not be disappointed.

After my wired earbuds failed me, I decided it was time to upgrade. I saw a couple reviews on the X3 and decided to get them. What really sold me was the combination of 8 hours of battery life and the fact that there wasn't one of those awkward necklace things you see on most bluetooth headsets. The X3's come with a number of different ear fins and tips so I was able to find the perfect fit. Sound quality is clear and the bass is booming.

This is actually my second pair of Jaybirds! I have a Camo set and was having issues with charging. Most earphones use the small connector (sorry I dont know the exact name) but it’s secure. The Jaybirds use this tiny prong system for lack of better words and eventually you will have charging issues. I have no idea why they do this, but I hate it. I have had the Camo for a little over a year and I have to really wiggle them around sometimes to charge. But they will charge, you just have to wiggle!!
Now that being said if you get a full charge they sound perfect. Jaybirds also has an app which allows you to really change the sound around.
I use these for running and have no issues. Well I did with the plastic tips. When I rode my bike I had ALOT of wind noise/whistling. So I had to buy Comply foam tips and now they stay in and sound great. If you wear for a prolonged time the ear fins that hold the Jaybirds in will start to bug you.
But overall if you can get them on sale then do it!! You won’t be disappointed.

Great headphones for the gym and other uses. They are light weight, great sound and the bass is good. I like how it tells you how much battery life you have when you turn them on and also when it hits 20%of the battery life. This is my 3rd pair of this brand and they have only gotten better! The app is an added plus to enhance the sound.
