I’m using this one from last year, they sounds amazing specially with foam ear tips, never had issue of falling down while running and these provides passive noice cancellation as well. Never tried waterproof thing but I’m sure there are sevaral videos out there to prove. If you want a pair of headphones for gym, running or casual use there definitely its the best choice available out in the market. Only down side is proprietary charger which you will need after 7-8 hours of listening with avg volume. Also don’t forget to use jaybird customization app to create your own taste of output.

While I am having an evening or a morning walk or run, Jaybirds stay well placed, comfortable, and stable. I also use them at home when the wife is asleep and I want to watch a concert or similar I can connect Jaybirds to my TV and away we go. Although there are connection issues both with device connection and TV connection (some skips during play back), the sounds coming through are clean and clear.

This is my second set of Jaybird X3s after I left my first pair in the rain accidentally. Best fit for my ears by far over other brands. I use them when I workout and indeed they are sweatproof (although not completely waterproof as I stated above). The mic works great when I receive calls. The only slight drawback is the imbalance in weight distribution as the right side contains the battery and can sometimes cause the headphones to slide down when i let them dangle. Sound quality is excellent for sports style earphones. These do not disappoint. Trying to get my wife to get a pair.

Took a few tries to set up for behind the head use but that sucker won't fall out! Great battery life and the app lets you customize the sound to amazing degrees. Only thing I don't like is the proprietary charger but I'm OCD and very careful with my electronics so I know I won't lose it. I dunked it in water and continued working just fine and don't even get me started on how great the foam tips are.

These are very solid headphones that have a good fit out of the box. Different sized earbuds and fins are provided to help you make the headphones as comfortable as possible. The sound quality is also excellent when you consider that these are a pair of bluetooth headphones. You can also adjust the sound quality of the headphones to your liking with the jaybird app, which is a nice feature.

Jay Bird X3 Product Review.
So my Jay Bird X2 died and I bought the Jay Bird X3 as the replacement. I love these a lot better than the X2. Here are some Pros and Cons of the product.
Pros:
-Better bass
-Better fit in and around the ears
-App where you can customize the EQ
-Better battery indicator (More Detailed)
-When you turn on the headphones battery life is given to you
-Customize your music with the app.
-Sound quality is better (More crisp)
Cons:
-Battery life is the same
-Different charger
-Soft case to put the headphones
Overall I think these headphones are worth the price tag and all the customizations you can do with the app. I’m happy that the headphones put out more bass since most of my music has bass. I’d recommend these headphones to a friend or anyone that is into fitness and wants headphones that will stay in your ears without falling out.

Incredible sound with a deep bass sound. Easy to find the perfect fit with multiple choices in silicone or comply foam tips and ear fins. Noise isolation not as great as I would have wanted, but for the price you great pretty decent noise isolation and fantastic sound. The downloadable app is also a great option. You can customize your sound to the type of music you're listening to.

These headphones are worth the price. I would consider myself an audiophile. I notice the subtle differences between headphones and I can honestly say that there are really good. They are LOUD if you want them to be; even though they are Bluetooth. I owned JBL Everest 300's previous to these & they don't even come close to how loud the Jaybirds can get.
As others have said, these headphones really shine when you download their app & use one of the thousands of options for EQ. I decided to switch to the foam inserts and they are great because I can squish them before I put them in my ear and then they expand in my ear so I can't hear anything when I'm using them at the gym.
Another great feature is that these headphones will connect to two Bluetooth connections at a time. So in my car, if I have these on and in my ear, these will allow me to listen to the music on my phone in my headphones, but I am able to control the skipping of songs on my steering wheel so it's safer as well rather than fiddling around with my phone.
These headphones are perfect for me. I was looking for Bluetooth headphones with the wire connecting them, good audio quality and something that will stay in my ears. Overall, if you're in the market for new headphones and budget isn't an issue, I'd roll the dice with these.

Was looking to upgrade from Samsung Gear Circles. Shopped around and read reviews, on Beats2 or 3's and Solo's (expensive), Jaybird x3 (these), and Apple airpods. Honestly, just couldn't wait for the apple airpods and couldn't get them around x-mas time. Since, I have an iPhone and just wasn't sure of the fit b/c I never liked nor the sound from the ones in the box. These Jaybird x3's were reasonable priced and on sale when I got them. Couldn't be happier. The MySound app is pretty cool. Can make EQ adjustment to your likings. Some headphones/brands don't allow you to do this. Their very lightweight, sound quality is amazing, charges hold for a long time when not in use and battery life is awesome as well. Bunch of different ear pieces. The charging attachment is a little bit weird, but I already knew about this upon my research, no biggie. Don't hold back. Would recommend.

I purchased these based on the great track record Jaybird seems to have built up, being the third generation in their X line I jumped on the opportunity to purchase the X3 on release. They are simply the best wireless earphones by far that they actually beat most wired ones i've also used. The battery claims hold up and the connectivity is solid, the way it instantly pairs with everything I own that has bluetooth all at the same time on power on is fantastic and convenient. The Comply ear-tips have kept the buds in my ear for more than 3 hours at a time with great comfort and isolate an incredible amount of outside noise. The only thing I can potentially point out as a negative is the charging method with involves clicking the control unit located on the wire into a tiny usb powered dock. I was immediately annoyed by this but after a few days I can say thats its a perfectly good way to charge it and is actually more convenient than plugging in a micro usb cable as you can clip on the X3 charger with just one hand. Jaybird's MySound app is a great way of seeing exactly how much juice is left in the buds and the sound tuning possible with it is amazing. At the launch price of 129.99 these are much cheaper than any other Jaybird earphones at launch and are totally worth it. If you found my review helpful please mark it as so and thanks for reading.

I purchased this headset with the intent to work out. In the past I have used the Plantronics backbeat and other jaybirds. I contemplating purchasing the powerbeats3 but don't like the wrap around on the ear.
These headsets are great for noise isolation. the Headset comes with noise isolation buds. Music sounds awesome plus it blocks a lot of outside noise. Sometimes I use them without music to sleep (block sound)
battery life is long.. quick charge in 20 mintues (gives you about an hour of use)
when battery is full the headset will last me the whole day when used all day.
set back . I don't like the charging but I can manage with it.. it uses a micro usb, but it also has its own adapter. which can be lost easily..
when I did I contacted Jaybird and they sent replacement.
My sound app is great, but don't use it as much.
overall great headset for price.

I will start this review by saying I have a bit of an obsession with buying wireless headphones and these are my favorite. This is my 2nd pair for work,my first was stolen. I thought ok,I will try the Bose to replace my Jaybird's. The sound in the Bose was awesome but not as good as the Jaybird's then the further I got from my phone the worst it got. I like to plug my phone in and have it charging while I am walking at work. I could walk crazy far with my Jaybird's but the Bose start losing the signal at around 20 ft. Then I tried the beats and it was even worse. I had to carry my phone in my pocket at all times,if I set my phone down and went 15ft it would shutdown. So I went back to the Jaybird's now I plug my phone in to charge and I can walk all over the place again. I have gone as far as 150ft and not lost a second of my music and the way they fit in your ears is perfect, the bass and highs are great!!! So I could of saved myself a lot of money if I would have just went back to the Jaybird's. For the money it doesn't get any better. I use the Bose and Beats for small projects around the house where my phone is close by.

I've used the jaybird x2 for a year and then bought the x3.
Sound difference: not much but I would say the x3 is better because of the eq feature in the jaybird app.
Comfort: x3 with the curved ear fins are an improvement over the x2. The x3 is more stable in the ear, especially with the comply foam tips.
Charging: the x3 has the quick charge feature (which is great), holds a longer charge (I got about 6 hours), but the charging port on the x3 hurts the deal for me. The x2 used the mini USB which plugged into the speaker, the x3 uses a special adapter that attaches to the buttons to then plug in via USB. Apparently this helps the weight of the headphones when not charging but now you have to carry the special charging adapter with you.
Overall: I would choose the x3 and try not to lose the charging cable.

I never thought Id buy wireless headphones. I thought it was dumb apple got rid of the headphone jack then i bought a cheaper pair of wireless headphones to try and loved them and wished i had known how great wireless is. So I spent the extra money on these better pair. Wireless is so good that my opinion is totally changed and I will never buy a set of wired headphones again. These have great sound the app is easy to use and the battery lasts very long considering how small they are. And the wireless range is very good also!

Love the noise cancellation these offer. No problems pairing with either a PC, phone, ipod or smart watch. Like the ability to configure and wear in different styles which the cord under the chin are most comfortable for myself. Sad about the foam tips not lasting long at all. They've cracked and broken after a few months of use. They offer replacements through Jaybird but my personal thought would be they should last quite a bit longer not a few months. Overall above average product for the cost when on sale for $99.99. Far superior in my opinion to previous Dre Powerbeats 2 and 3. Love the custimization equalizer app. Hopefully they last longer than my previous sets of Powerbeats. Do need to make sure you don't lose the silly charging dongle they provide. Why it's not a standard micro USB, I have no clue.

An Average Guy Review

I wanted to post a review based on my experience with the Jaybird X3's in case anyone is looking to buy them. I want to add that I am by no means an audiophile and don't have much of an ear for detail. My current headphones are the earbuds from my Samsung GS6 and a pair of Astro A50's that I game with.
Lets start out with the good. These headphones seem very well constructed and they are very customizable. They come with 3 sizes of the rubber tips, 3 sizes of the foam tips, 3 sizes of the ear fins, two cord shortening clips and a shirt clip. I also am getting really good battery life. I've been using these at work for around 7 hours and then an hour at the gym and I usually end up around 15-20% left. I don't listen to my headphones really loud so that probably helps. Also these are a pretty good price compared to other headphones of the same class. I've done a few workouts with these and they stay in.
Next, I'll move onto the neutrals / bad parts. I thought they took forever to get situated right in my ear with all the different rotations and customization options. I think these are primarily for workouts or short use periods. I started off wearing these with the over-the-ear method. This was the most comfortable to me but after about two hours my ears start getting fatigue. The over-the-ear method keeps the cord out of your way and off your shirt collar. They are not pleasant to wear for an entire work day. To combat this I decided to go under-the-ear. My ears instantly felt a huge relief but this led to other problems. In the process of turning my head throughout my workday, the cord would get caught on my collar and pull on the earbuds. I had a really tough time keeping these earbuds in when they were under-the-ear. I always felt like they were falling out. I tried out a different earbud / wingtip combo each day but never got them right. Also, the foam earbuds gave me that underwater feeling that I got from the Bose QC35's which I don't care for. So my tradeoff is between fatigue or a loose fit. The shirt clip seemed useless as it pulled off with any tension. Lastly, I wanted to talk about the power connector. It's a non-standard power connector and it requires a little fiddling and situating to get it to snap into place. Personally, this didn't really effect me either way.
Now lets move onto audio quality. Remember that I'm comparing these mainly to my stock Samsung GS6 headphones since I use them the most. Most reviews that I've read say that the Jaybird X3's have good audio quality and better base. I'd have to disagree, right when I put them in I felt disappointed in the audio quality. At louder volumes it sounds better but it still didn't sound great. I also felt like there was zero base. I loaded up the app and messed with the sound profiles and it seemed to have little effect, but I admit I didn't really know what I was doing in the app. I pop my GS6 earbuds back in and I immediately notice a sound improvement.
Final Remarks: I am going to return these later today. I am fine with a tradeoff in quality to go wireless (I hate cords) but these don't seem to be the pair to get me there. I thought the quality sacrifice was just too much and I didn't find them comfortable. If you are primarily wanting them for the gym to workout with they will probably suit your needs.
Feel free to ask any questions that I might not have covered.

Bluetooth technology is amazing and so are these jaybirds. Amazing quality of sound for somebody that is very particular about how sound projects. Especially the app the works alongside the device.
However, the battery does depreciate similar to how we use our phones. But this is inevitable as nobody can maintain proper battery usage and care.
