I bought these for my wife for Xmas, and I have the BlueBuds X (first generation). Those had a built in micro USB plug, so I could charge them anywhere without having to carry around a dinky charger dongle! The sound is terrific, though!

I went to Best Buy in Auburn Hills to purchase a Netgear Internet and Voice Exfinity modem. While there I remembered the IPad Pro that bought my wife last year. She had mentioned ear buds, so decided to look at them. The sales girl showed me 2-3 different brands and I choose these because of the quality and the fact that they were on sale also... She loves them!

Let me preface this with the fact that I've own not only the original Jaybird's but the X2's and now the X3's. I can't think of another pair of active headphones I'd rather have than these. They fit in the ear comfortably and allow you to be active without falling out. I have not found another headphone that fits and doesn't add much bulk to your ears.

Excellent long lasting battery life for hours with clear sound quality.

I researched several brands and ultimately decided on the Jaybirds over the Powerbeats3 due to complaints the Powerbeats were easily broken. I have had them for a couple of months and like them better each day. The different size buds and custom ear fins enabled me to get a perfect fit. My biggest complaint before the Jaybirds were that my earbuds would wiggle loose resulting in poor sound quality, especially the bass. I don't have that issue with these. Coupled with the "MySound " app on my iPhone, these have the best sound quality of any earbuds I have ever used. I mainly use them at the gym or when riding my bike and the battery can easily last several days before I charge them. The proprietary charger is a bit goofy, but so far it has worked fine. Just don't lose it or you can't recharge the buds! One final bonus I just discovered is that the buds fit so well, they act as great noise cancelling headphones while flying on airplanes. They cut out 90% of the background noise even when not listening to music...bonus!! The one thing I cannot comment on is how well they perform for phone calls since I don't use them for that purpose. If I lost these earbuds, or they quit for some reason, I would replace them without a second thought. If you are on the fence, get them! You won't be sorry!

These headphones are great for working out. That said they lack a high quality sound, and don’t really get that loud. But they seem to be holding off from the extreme sweating. Overall I would recommend to serious gym rats!

The sound on these head phones is great and the app allows you to configure sound themes for your taste. Construction seems very solid. One issues I have is that headphones turn off during charging and bluetooth connection to the phone is lost.
