The only reason I don't give these 5 stars is the ear bud fittings. The app works great and the sound is good. They could learn something from Bose about ear fitting.

Not good for riding a motorcycle

I specifically got these for riding on my motorcycle. And they do not like to stay connected after reaching 40mph. They start to cut in and out, and won't stay connected to your phone. Also if you have small ears they do not want to go all the way in your ear and they constantly fall out. These would probably be okay for working or time in the gym. They do have good sound quality, and the battery is long lasting.

These are good ear phones. They have a problem staying in my ears without the "ear piece" on them. They have a good sound quality but they are not noise cancelling ear phones.

These headphones work great but a little hard to get it to fit good. I also have already list the size I need. So I am not sure if I really love them but they sound great.

I ended up returning these headphones but they had an overall good sound system. I’m just so use to sticking with name brands like Sony or apple.

Wasn’t sure if I wanted these or the Powerbeats3. Read a ton of reviews and even watched some comparison videos and I am so glad I went with these over Dre Beats!! The sound quality is superb, especially with the added app to customize the sound to your liking.

They feel good, look good, and have a great battery life! They just don't sound as good as other competitors. Not to mention when I used them to connect to one of my devices, I am not a hundred percent sure, but I think they caused buffering, because everytime I used them...buffering occurred. Without them no problem, and everything played smooth. I really don't know how earbuds could do that, but they did. If you don't care about great sound, and looking for good workout device by all means pay premium for regular.

It’s great for talking and listening to music, however, minus one star for one complaint that I sounded far away so I had to turn off and use handset instead

Sound quality is very good. Crisp highs and fairly deep lows. Only problem with these buds is figuring out the correct fitting for your ears to comfortably keep them in place.

Bought these for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who has the previous version of jaybirds. Just yesterday he said how much better the sound quality is. He is very pleased with them and so am I. He got me a pair for Christmas as well! We use them at the gym with no issues!

I love these headphones. These are my second pair of the Jaybird X3's. Best part are the clips used to adjust the length of headphone cable. Perfect fit, long battery life, and sweat proof!!! I use one pair for running and a second pair for everyday use. LOVE THEM!

These headphones sound great and the battery lasts enough to get through my workday. When I need to charge them, it doesn't take long. I'm afraid to lose the charging cable that it comes with though because it's specific to this product.

Good Bluetooth ear buds. Only issue is with the controls on one side hang so it tend to pull the bud in the opposite ear. Not a big issue though. Good sound.

I purchased this item in hopes that it would be everything that jaybird is known for, but I was disappointed. Sound quality was not the best, the bass wasn't good despite them having an app with various sound settings. Battery life was good but it was so uncomfortable to have on for more than an hour. None of the options were comfortable for me. The charging port is proprietary so beware and no magnet to have secured attachment when they aren't in use.

If you're looking for wireless headphones with great sound, these could be what you want. Keep in mind that they still have the wire between the ears. Love the ability to adjust the sound in the equalizer app.

These headphones work really well for what they do, with the exception that the cushions will not stay attached to the buds themselves. I have had the cushion come off 3 times in the last 2 days and returned them to buy something else. Also, if you need anything from Jaybird do not even bother as I have tried ordering a buds pack from their website on September 25 and they said it would be at my house within a week. When I tried contacting them they say that they cannot handle that over the phone and the online chat said they would look into this matter but have not gotten back to me in over a week.

This is my third pair of Jaybirds. The first two pairs were J2's. I loved them. I only got a second pair because I lost the first after a year. I got the J3s because I couldn't find my second pair of J2s. I was super disappointed to find that they now have a proprietary charger. It's super tiny, and if you lose it, a replacement costs $30!!!!!! I also feel like the tips fall off more easily than the older model. I still like the headphones, but I'm not impressed at all.

Best wireless I've tried so far

I've gone through about 5-7 different wireless headphones just never finding ones that were not only comfortable and with good ergo's but with a sound quality that I can justify spending more than $20.00 on. After reading several reviews online, I purchased these and have to say they are by far the best wireless headphones I've tried including Beats and Bose. The foam tips expand in your ear canal once you place them on thereby eliminating about 75% ambient noise. The battery charge is phenomenal. I recharge about one every 2-3 weeks based on my usage (1.5 hrs a day/4-5 days a week at gym) Are they as good as a good set of traditional wired, over ear headphones? No, of course not. If you want wireless, discrete and convenient, these fit the bill. One con, the charging "cradle" Is about a 3" long wire making it incredibly good at hiding. Its proprietary design makes headphones unchangeable when it goes missing.
