The Jaybird X-3 are great for listening while working out or just driving. They stay put in my ears and are comfortable. I would recommend these for comfort and easy listening.

    Works Well After Set Up

I wanted a good pair of bluetooth headphones to work with my Samsung GearFit. This set up allows me to go phone and cable free at the gym while listening to music. I got the Jaybirds after reading a number of lukewarm reviews on the Beats wireless models. So two things - I was completely baffled by the earpiece set up. You get several pieces of ear gear with these headphones to allow you to better fit them to your needs, but the instructions were really lacking. I found a few good user videos on Youtube and was able to get the earpieces adjusted and the cable shortened. Second, right out of the box, the Jaybirds had a thin, trebly sound to them. You have to take the time to download the Jaybird app to your phone, which will then talk to the headphones and install one of many available e/q settings. I played around with this for a time and found a setting that boosted the bass significantly and rolled back the treble I am now very happy with the sound, battery life and portability

Very good for the price, especially the camo pattern, didn't find that anywhere but Best Buy. The phones are pretty good, good fit, sound is good, not the best but good

    Step down from X2 Sport

I feel as though this bluetooth headphone is a step down from the previous generation. As opposed to the built-in micro-USB port from the X2, you now have to use an adapter to charge these buds. Still, fit and sound quality is why I prefer the Jaybirds over some other bluetooth headphones. No discernible difference there between X3 and X2.

As far as sound quality they are great, the charging mechanics are unfortunately a major disadvantage, my wife has another brand and hers will hook up to any micro usb these you need the connector piece. The Comfply earbuds rip easily but at more comfortable then the silicone ones.

I've literally tried every earbud on the market! Finally decided to go with wireless Bluetooth ones and a Best Buy worker recommended the X2's loves those then when these came out I bought them and love them even more! The app for your phone makes these sound way better than the X2's and they seem to fit better in my ear. Only thing is I wished the fit under my mother helmet. It maybe the next generation will...

I had wanted some wireless headphones to use at the gym and a friend highly recommended these. So far they have been worth the money. They're comfortable, have great sound quality, and have a decent battery life. They're very functional, especially the ability to check the status of the battery without looking at your phone. These are my first pair of wireless headphones, and they are overall a great product.

I've had the more expensive freedom series as well and just didn't like them compared to these. Sound quality was there but just not as comfortable as these x3's. I'm no audiophile at all, but I know clean sound, and a good balance of crisp highs, hard hitting lows, hearing sounds you'll rarely ever get to notice on any other speaker. Battery life is better than average for a Bluetooth headset. Just buy these for sure!

I replaced my Jaybird X2 with the X3. I didn't imagine that Jaybird could develop a better device. The X3 is exceptional. The battery life is better than most other bluetooth headphones I've owned. I exercise several days a week for about 45 minutes to an hour and only charge the device once a week. I love the app and how I can customize the sound to my fit. The fit is exceptional and stays in place.

I have been a Jaybird wireless headphones user since the very first headphones came out. They have all been way more reliable than the Beats by Dre wireless but not as comfortable to wear. Beats definitely wins that. The sound on these is great, they're lightweight, and stay on most of the time. I'm not a fan of the four hour battery or the new charging component. I've also had issues with the Bluetooth on my iPod but never on my iPhone. Every time I use them with my iPod the Bluetooth connectivity goes on and off. I have to stop mid run and reconnect them to my iPod. Sometimes they reconnect themselves but it can take 20-25 seconds for it to do so on it's own. And sometimes this happens once during a workout and on some occasions it happens over and over to the point where it's really annoying. I've never had this issue with any other Jaybird headphones. They're great headphones overall when I use them with my iPhone. I bought them on sale but worth the full price.

Surprisingly nice and comfortable fit. Comfort tips make a nice seal which blocks out a lot of external noise, so be careful when out on a run and crossing streets.

These wireless earbuds are really worth the price. I have purchased several expensive brands but have encountered problems with either battery life or malfunction during intense workout or circuit training due to headphone poor sweat resistance (even though most of them are marketed as water resistant!). But Jaybird X3 has really excelled in all aspects and meets the requirement for intense sports and sweaty workouts/long runs (over 8 hours of play time in one charge!!). Of course the sound quality is not stellar and cannot be compared to high end brands but this gadget really meets the needs!!!

I had the X2 for a while and they were a good bluetooth headphones, these are an improvement in everything but the controls and how they charge. Sound is excellent and the change to the earbud part is welcome as it is now less noticable and fits in the ear very nicely. The slight angle also makes the fit better as well as the back end now sits a little more on the fleshy part of the ear. You will need to get used to this new angle in order to get the best sound and fit though. There are two negatives with this new design; first is the new controls are slightly larger than the older models and its a bit too big since I wear them over the ear and with the cable tight so it feels a little weird. The second is also related to this as they have switched to a proprietary charging clip which they currently don't sell replacements for which is unfortunate as if you lose it you need to email them for a replacement and can't just have multiple at the moment.
