If you have a phone with bluetooth 5.0, wireless headphones will work great, and these are one of those. The sound is pretty great, they stay comfortable in your ear with customized ear tips and wings, the battery lasts all day, and the app lets you modify the sound. This all lasts around a year, and then the bugs and problems come and you'll probably need a replacement. Mine sometimes turned off for no reason, and wouldn't turn on till i connected them (and they still had charge). The sound would jitter out and then no sound would come out, and they'd still be connected, or sometimes they'd just disconnect from my phone completely (iphone x, galaxy S8 and S10+, same problems). They come with a terrible carrying case, and you'll probably just end up wanting to carry them in a jacket pocket or something.

These are some of the best headphones I've ever purchased. The sound quality is great and they actually stay on while being very active. Love that it charges quickly and the charge lasts about 8 hours.

Why did I but it? I wanted to try wireless earbuds for working out at the gym. Jaybird has been one of the most reliable wireless headphone producers and the oldest, long before a lot of other brands like BEATS started making wireless earbuds. What Do I like about it? I love the sound. The app is really what made me keep these headphones; It makes a huge difference in sound compared to other cheaper earphones. I also like the accessories that it comes with. There are a lot of options to get a good fit. I like that it came with Comply earbuds for maximum sound isolation. What do I not like about it? I hate the charger. I chose the color white for safety. I feel like if i ever wore the black ones, then no one would really know i cant hear them unless they were close to me. I wish they had more colors, like other models in this brand. Overall Rating: Thumbs up

These headphones are great. I'm runner and I run about 5-6 miles a day and these are the only headphones I've had that actually stay in and are very secure. I don't have to worry about them falling out at all. The sound quality is great and the headset is very light. I was questioning how much it weighed before I bought it, but it's not nearly as heavy as it looks like. These are by far the best wireless earphones I've had for running and working out. They're worth the money.

Setup was easy. Like the customizing feature of the App. I found the sound quality to be very good, especially the base. The headphones stay tight to my ears during my workouts with no worry of falling out. On the downside, a special adapter is required for charging with the included micro USD.

Great buy. Great sound quality and the fit is great. This is a great set of earphones for the gym and running. Its quite light weight. Compared to Jaybird Freedom, this has no charge clips, and the battery lasts a very long time. Not a drawback, but the initial assembly of the pieces (fins, earphone tips, clips for lenght adjustments) take a bit of time, though once it is done, you are set for good. Charging is also verg quick.

I am not a fan of ear buds but they are the logical choice when it comes to working out and running. After several weeks of research, I actually selected a couple of different buds first. For one reason or another, I sent those back and ended up buying these when they went on sale. It took me several minutes, if not an hour to find the right combination of tips and wings to get a good comfortable fit. There are several different pieces to choose from. I ended up having to use different sized tips and wings so its nice they include several sizes of each. The battery life is really great. I can easily workout all week before having to charge them. Which leads me to my only complaint with these buds, the charge cord/adapter thingy. It is a proprietary adapter with a very short cable. Then there is the subject of sound quality. These buds are really good right out of the box. But then you download the companion app and take the sound to WOW! They are quite adjustable and very easily customized to your preferences.

Have a pair of X2s for over a year with zero issues, bought the X3s for my husband since I loved mine. After only six weeks they no longer would charge, past the return policy at Best Buy so I had to deal directly with Jaynird support. It was a long process but 4 weeks later we had finally had replacement. Perhaps I will think twice on the extended plan offered at Best Buy..... great sound quality and are amazing for running!

I bought X3 about 2 months ago and it has been holding well. Overall, I have been satisfied and I highly recommend this product to anybody who wants wireless earphones. The sound quality is pretty good and frankly impressed me. The sound, after adjusting using the Jaybird app, is better than most other earphones I have owned (I had mostly used Apple earpods for daily use for convenience previously), even better than some of the high-end wired ones that I have. The standard factory setting sound is pretty flat, but the sound becomes dynamic with some adjustments on the app––the bass is great. The app definitely works well and is a must to make the sound better. Also, earbud tips can also change the quality. In general, the form ones are better than the silicone ones for me. The form ones also help hold the earbuds in ears better especially when working out. The product quality has been well. I mainly use this for workout almost everyday, while lifting and doing cardio. The product has been holding well for now, and I think it will be fine for a while. The Bluetooth connection is mostly fine. I have the X3 connected to iPhone 6S, iPad Air 2, and iPod Nano. It works well with all of the devices. There are some delays and jumps once in a while but not often enough to bother me. The battery life is great. It usually takes me about 80-90 mins to charge and gets me about 7-8 hours playtime. I usually take the device off the charger as soon as the charging is done since there were some previous reviews on charging longer can damage the battery life.

    Bad fit

I've owned the Jaybird X, X2 and now the X3 - and for my particular ear I can not recommend as the fit isn't good and wearing this for 30 mins or more are painful. The X and X2 were basically the same exact headphones, they sounded the same, looked the same, I really to this day don't know what the difference is or was. The X3's however are a different design, they're smaller - which is good - but they go into your ear at a different angle, which is really really bad for my particular ear. The X and X2's I loved because they were so comfortable - just use comply foam ear tips and I can wear them for hours without any problems or discomfort. However the X3... ugh, why Jaybird, why did you change the design? The angle on the X3 is different and they're made to go over your ear instead of hanging down - and man, I hate the change. There is a pair of "clips" in the box to where when you place it around your head you shorten the wire, it's a great idea and certainly helps, but it doesn't come close to fixing the comfort issue. So that's my take on the fit - and note your ear is probably different so comfort may not be any type of issue for you. If comfort isn't a problem then these headphones are excellent... I'll explain. Sound with these headphones is great. Out of the box, using an iPhone 7 Plus, the sound is good, but not too different than the X/X2, but certainly a bit better. BUT, and it's a huge BUT, when you download their EQ app the sound goes from pretty good to excellent. Yeah it's just an EQ, but the EQ really cranks up the differences - this isn't like the built in music EQ they have in the iPhone, these are dramatic differences. I like a class V shape to my EQ, so heavy on the lows and highs - and wow, these headphones come to life. The bass on these, if you crank it up, is really impressive - the highs are the same. You can with the EQ also completely ruin the sound, so certainly play around with different profiles until you find what you like. You can also create your own but note this isn't a normal EQ, Jaybird is going for some custom deal (I think purely for looks) and it's a lot more tricky to dial in the sound - but there are tons of profiles out there to choose from that are user made so you will find something you like. Again if you get this - absolutely get the app - without the app you're wasting your money. Seriously. Also make sure you take the time to use those 2 clips in the box to adjust the fit of the wire. While the in-ear headphone fit isn't for me (they do fit 100% securely, just uncomfortable) shortening that wire for over the ear wearing is a must. I wish there was a more elegant solution for the wire since it's really something you have to do - but this works and looks good, it's just a pain to adjust. Also annoying is the charging solution which is a custom clip made by Jaybird. It's very much like the Jaybird Freedom clip - so I hope that means they'll make a way for you to buy battery clips for on-the go changing like you can with the Freedom earbuds. BTW the Freedom earbuds also are a very very poor fit for me ear, I had to return those - but they sounded great, probably better than these by a bit and they're tiny.

Best BT Sport ear phones I've had so far

Over the years I've had many wireless earphones for my daily workout. Apparently my workout is too intensive for most earphones to survive beyond the 1 year warranty, so I get to change them a lot and I always keep two for redundancy. I've been using the X3 for exactly one month so I cannot say anything about it's sustainability yet. However on all other aspects it ranges from good to surprisingly better than all the others. Look & Feel: some products are a little disappointing when you actually get to hold and use them. Not this one. It looks good and feels sturdy even after one month of usage. Fit & Comfort: Personally it is a very big problem for me. All the other earphones I've used couldn't be kept tucked inside my ear through a long run without additional aids like silicon earplugs that swimmers normally use. This one does very well surprisingly. I use the largest soft & spongy buds provided with the largest wing-shaped fitment and it holds. Ease of use: Simple pairing process. Automatic and fast connection on power on. Effective yet not annoying voice-over information feedback. Controls are not too sensitive yet doesn't require too much pressing force to use. Battery: it lasts more than 5 hours of music play but not enough to last a full week of training without a charge, which is normally around 7 hours. Charging is very fast and easy to connect with the special adapter provided. Sound quality: among the best I've had so far. A2DP protocol has it's limitation so I don't expect studio headphones quality but compared to other products in the market it is very good indeed.

Absolutely love these. Uploaded the 4K sound equilizer on the app and the sound is amazing. They stay put in your ear when digging deep to get those few extra pumps on the weights and on the treadmill. Had the freedoms for a week. These blows those out of the water. Better bass response and fitment. I was going to buy the runs but the reviews on those don’t look so promising. Also looked into bose and can’t justify spending the extra money on a subpar product. Buy the x3’s you can’t go wrong.

I purchased these as an additional Bluetooth headset. The X2s had an issue sometimes where they wouldn't power on unless recently plugged in to the charger even though the battery was full. I have not had any issues with these so far, and with software you can shape the musical range (increase bass, treble, decrease wave, etc). And they are very light, and I don't notice them when I run...earpieces stay in the ear as well.

I have gone through a lot of headphones so when I decided to try wireless ones I did my research and found a lot of good reviews for the jaybirds. The sound is very good and the earphones are very durable. A coworker asked me about them and I highly recommended them. Once he got them he said they were in fact very good. The battery lasts me about 6 hours but that’s because I always have them on high volume. When the battery is low one hour charge will last you about another 6. One bad thing I’ll say is that the charging port can sometimes wear and you have to play with them a little to get them on a good placement to charge. Also the comply foam tips can wear out easily depending on storage and use. The company’s customer service is really good. I had an old pair that started to malfunction and only one side would work and I no longer had warranty through Best Buy so I emailed the company and they shipped me a brand new pair. Overall the jaybirds are the best headphones I’ve ever used. P.S. the app that goes along with it is really great as well.

When I first got them, they worked well. They are comfortable. Different ear pieces. The sound is terrific (for ear buds). They are light and the battery life is as good as I would hope for. But, they talk to you when you first turn them on, as they are supposed to. They tell you they are on and the amount of battery life. Then they tell you they are connected. All good things. Sometimes they tell you they are connected and they are not. You can connect them again and things tend to be fine. Except lately they tell you they are connected a lot, while listening to music or any audio. They just speak up and let you know they are connected. You are using them to listen so you already know this. This is annoying. I thought it was interference from my phone or my tablet, I turned them off and still it does it.

Upgraded from the jaybird x2 to these. The x3 has a multi-point feature which allows for connection to 2 devices at once. This was a big deal for me because I carry 2 cell phones. I have most my music on my iphone but my main line is on my galaxy s7. The earbuds themselves are a bit smaller which makes them way more comfortable to wear. The fins that comes with these earbuds have a new design which are curved and that gives it a great fit. These few things have made it worth the upgrade. Sounds and battery life is just a little bit better than the x2. I do have to state that I had to return the first pair I got because of serious connection issues. It would go in and out quite a bit even though my phone was only a couple of feet away. This happened quite often. The second pair did it as well but much less. I could live with it. The x2 never had connection problems. Even when I walked 30-40 feet away.
