Disconnecting problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After reading the reviews for the JayBird X3, I decide to give a try. The sound is really good and the companion application is excellent, I like how you can really adapt the sound your taste and how comfortable they are. I gave 2 stars because If I place my phone (HTC M9) in my pocket (right or left) the X3 start to disconnect/connect constantly, I try it with my Gear S3 watch, and as soon as I lower my arm to my side the connection problems begin again, I try to reset the connections, also customer service told me to do a series of pressing buttons but it didn't fix the issue, I try my wife's phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) with no luck. Then I exchange them for a new pair thinking the first ones were defective, but I experience the same issues. Finally, I exchange them for the BOSE SoundSport, The sound is not as good as the X3, but I least I can listen to my music as I exercise. What a shame that very good sound ends useless due to connection issues.

Downloaded the JayBird App, battery percentage isn't the very accurate. Took a little bit to get the correct ear bud sizing, once found a good sizing, they work well.

Better than Beats

He had a previous pair that lasted nearly 2 years, almost 2 years longer than some he had tried. Great sound quality and comfort.

If you are thinking of upgrading to these ..do not hesitate

The sound quality is pretty good, but even though there are a lot of options for ear pieces these just don't fit right. I am hoping user error at this point. I like the light weight, easy bluetooth connection and would be happy with my purchase if I can figure out the fit. Maybe I just need to wear them in. Fingers crossed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my 2nd pair of Jaybird's and this pair is better for sure but when I put them on initially and rode my bike I had a lot of wind noise. I switched to the Comply tips (which I am told they now discontinued selling together) but now when I run I get a loud thumping in my ears. I don't know why because they fit more securely in my ears. Maybe I will try increasing the size of the Comply tip. But Jaybird's NEEDS to include the Comply foam tips with their product! Without them I would have returned these.

Slightly tinny due to aluminum construction. Connection is strong but still occasionally skips audio. Occasionally I mean with my iPhone being in my pocket, and the skips like 3-4 times throughout 5 hour playback. Not bad but definitely not good. Soft ear tips are awesome for any size ear but rubber coating comes off quite easily losing some of its noise cancelation properties. Otherwise it's a good bang for your buck. I recommend it.
