I bought these because I needed a new pair of Bluetooth headphones and wanted something low profile and comfortable. I've been using these every day for the past month and couldn't be more impressed with them

I use these for running and going from class to class while at the university and they are amazing at that. Love that Jaybirds dropped the price on these a lot and made them really affordable. The sound quality is amazing for being Bluetooth and accopaning it with the free jaybirds app makes the sound even better. Youre able to tune this to your perfect liking in your lows, mids or highs. You'll love these. I've owned the previous version and these are a big improvement even though I loved the X2s.

So far (one month) the earbuds have worked well, hold a charge for a long time, and stay in place while running or working out. Others I have tried tended to fall out, while these stay in place.

I've tried so many Bluetooth headphones, both more and less expensive than the Jaybird X3, but these have the best sound performance by far. The app is great to customize bass and other personalized settings.

I have owned Jaybird headphones since the 1st generation......best sound, battery life and being sweat proof is a plus since I go to the gym and hike alot!

This is the best headphones that I have purchased.

Before buying these I was using the Jaybird X2s during my workouts. Those were great but the X3s are much better. The X3's fit very securely in my ear and stay put through entire workouts. I mainly lift weights but do short jogging sessions every so often and I've had no problems with the headphones falling out in either situation. The biggest difference and improvement from the X2s is the volume level. I'm not sure if the x3s are actually louder than the X2s or if they isolate sound better making it feel louder, but the end result is that the X3s require my phone to be at a much lower volume than the X2s did to block out all the noise in the gym. I would highly recommend X3s to anyone looking for solid good sounding workout headphones.

The evolution from X to X3 in the Jaybird family has moved from excellent to slightly better each year. All were great, and each year brought incremental improvements. This year brings more metal, higher quality materials, slightly better sound. The new app is great for sound control. The new charging feature takes a bit of getting used to, but I prefer it over the old in the long run. I was afraid I was going to snap off the plastic housing cover of the earbud, under the old method. This also allowed them to shrink the size of the ear buds, by moving the battery to the control center. Old users of X2 and X will also like the fit better. This is the way upgrades should go - take the previous great product, and make little improvements.

This is an awesome purchase. The sound quality is great and you can manipulate it to what you want to hear. This headset has awesome bass and sound isolation so no one will hear you and you can't hear them.

Solid sound and they stay in your ears even when very active. I haven't used the phone app much so I can't comment on it, but it is nice to be able to configure the sound on these so many ways if you want.

Great sound quality, very comfortable, love the iPhone app, but wish the battery life was slightly longer. Overall very happy

I use these when I am bike riding exclusively. I clipped the alligator clip onto my shirt at the neck area and the first time I used it, the lower part of the clip came off at the hinge. I wear the device behind my helmet and under my ear, but they do not fall out of my ear. Many combo options for wings and gel/foam cups so you can experiment. Battery only last about 5 hours for me. I expected longer. The nice thing is that the device warns you when you are at 20%.

After experimenting with the various ear buds I finally found a great fit and use them for running. Stay in my ears for long runs and I find them to be comfortable. Very happy with my purchase.

So I've used the LG tones since they first released. I've had just about every model, because they would wear down after about a year anyways. Once I went in and got the sol republic shado's I believe their called, and returned them the next day, went back to tones. I went in for a pair of the LG actives and decided to try out the jaybirds because I've heard great things and they have lived up to everything. From delivering an exceptional isolated experience, to being sturdy and comfortable while running or biking, they are by far the best I've owned. My only complaints being the wings fall off pretty easily, and you can't change a song from the actual headphones. But even call quality is better. Best overall Bluetooth headphones.

Pros: Bass, ability to adjust EQ with the Jaybird app, comfort, Usability Cons: Poor highs/treble, cable is a tad bit heavy

I was initially skeptical about the ear plugs, but to my surprise, they are super comfortable to wear them and the sound is completely costamizable and it sounds great ! Will definitely recommend.

Much more bass than my X2's. More rounded sound profile and ability to change how these puppies sound with the app sold me on giving up my Jaybird X2 earbuds for these. Especially on sale you just can't go wrong.
