Stopped working after 2 months!

My left earbud stopped working entirely after 2 months of light use. I've tried to contact Jaybird for a replacement and have yet to receive a response. A brief Google search showed that this has been a known issue with model and past Jaybird models. Outside the BestBuy return period unfortunately, so a couple hundred dollars wasted. Buyer beware!!! Save your money or buy a different brand. If you're attached to getting a Jaybird product, make sure also get the Geek Squad protection. You will likely actually need it for this product.

Please follow the recommendations below to resolve the issue with your headset:
Check your buds, make sure they are clean and free of debris.
-Move your earbuds and your Bluetooth audio device closer as you may be experiencing Bluetooth interference. While the range of most Bluetooth devices is 10 meters (33 feet), the optimal range for any Bluetooth stereo device is about 60 centimeters (2 feet) from the audio source.
-Your earbuds Bluetooth antenna is located in the inline remote. Try moving your audio device closer to the side where the inline remote is located. For example, you can try moving your audio device to your right pocket instead of your left.
-Reset your Bluetooth connection by turning your device's Bluetooth off for one minute and then back on.
-Turn your audio device off and then back on.
-Complete a reset of your earbuds.

Not What I was Expecting

These do not last

At first they wouldn't hold a charge. Now they simply won't charge at all. Red light just stays on. I cannot power them on and cannot do a factory reset. I would not recommend these at all.

But the fit of the X4's are good, but after a while they tend to be uncomfortable. Sweat and waterproof are a great addition, and the sound is and upgrade over the previous model. But for budget earbuds the X4's are pretty good

Even after adjusting bass mid and high on phone app music still lacks bass. Every thing sounds tinny. Going to give away and try another brand probably Bose. The neck cord seems to “grab” my neck when turning my head slightly.

3 pairs each stopped working

They look stylish, was told they worked very well, and were great for running. Unfortunately, only a few months in, they don't hold a charge anymore. He gets them replaced by the manufacturer. The second pair lasts a few days, then the same problem: they don't hold a charge. We think it's the charger, so we try both the old and new charger, but nothing. He gets them replaced again, and these work for a few good months without a hitch.. until they don't. Same problem. Again. He doesn't want to go through the hassle of replacing them again. I can't understand how 3 pairs of these supposedly premium headphones all break in under a year. It's unacceptable, ridiculous, and would strongly advise against purchasing this brand.

Worked until the warranty expired

I looked it up and it was 3 months after the warranty expired (frustrating). Looked up some message boards and a ton of other people had the same problem. Keep in mind when you charge it, the light turns on, so everything else about the headphones seems to be in working order. Feels like Jaybird does this on purpose so that you have to annually buy a new pair, because how do you “fix” Bluetooth headphones let alone the power button?? I loved these earbuds but the unwillingness to help after the expired warranty tells me they don’t believe in their product, so why should you or I?

Not a fan of this style

These have several different methods to fit in your ear but if they get uncomfortable you basically have to take the whole set off. Over the ear you can move aside and it still rest on your ear.

Great sound - Unreliable performance

Great sound but after 2 months the ear pieces would come off. 6 months later they would not charge. Replacements lasted 7 months, same problem. I had extended coverage so Best Buy replaced with X4, got them home, no left speaker. Replaced the next day worked for 30 days and would not turn on. I loved the fit and sound but 60 miles round trip to replace, sorry were done hear. I think the purchase by Logitech may be the down fall. Best Buy highly recommended then every time I was in and they are highlighted on the front facing end cap. Sorry Jaybird and Best Buy, we are moving on to Bose

-Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
-Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
-Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
-To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
-Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
-Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

This is not acceptable. Sound quality was fair at best.

1. Test over-ear/under-ear fit
2. Test all combinations of eartips and wings, including different sizes in each ear (silicone and foam tips)

Wont hold a charge.
