Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they don't stay in my ears which I get all ears are different. also slightest head movement sets them into a signal dropping frenzy. when sitting still the sound is awesome. move and it goes out the window. oh well on to the next pair.

Posted .Hello cabinetman,
Thanks for your feedback. We are constantly trying make our products better and appreciate what you have to say.
If you experience issues with the audio cutting in and out, or dropping out, try the following as applicable:
-Move your earbuds and your Bluetooth device closer -- you may be experiencing Bluetooth interference. While the range of most Bluetooth devices is 10 meters (33 feet), the optimal range for any Bluetooth stereo device is about 60 centimeters (2 feet) from the audio source.
-Your earbuds’ Bluetooth antenna is located in the inline remote -- try moving your audio source device closer to the side where the inline remote is located. For example, you can try moving your audio source device to your right pocket instead of your left.
-Reset your Bluetooth connection by turning your device's Bluetooth off for one minute and then back on.
-Complete a reset of your earbuds.

Great sound, Terrible durability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality of these headphones is great and the earbuds they come with fit well, but the durability is awful. I owned two pairs and within a three month span the left earbud stopped working on both of them. I also never dropped them or anything, just worked out with them.

Not Worth The $$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously, don't waste your money on the Jaybird X4 earbuds. Or any Jaybird product, really. Have had two sets of Jaybird wireless earbuds and neither even made it to the two year mark (conveniently, Jaybird only offers a one year warranty and does nothing but try to get you to buy other Jaybird items if you contact them with issues outside of the first year). If I'm spending upwards of $100 on earbuds, I expect a lifespan of more than 1.5 years. I've had $20 generic earbuds that have lasted longer. My sister also had Jaybirds and experienced the same issue with longevity - the earbuds just eventually stop turning on. Do yourself a favor and save time and trouble by avoiding Jaybird entirely.

Total garbage and useless support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jaybird have designed their headphones so that the buds and charging cradle are proprietary irreplaceable. Should you lose either the tiny adaptor or any of the rubber buds, Jaybirds website has them out of stock forever and has no intention of stocking them, ever. After numerous back and forths with support, they essentially told me to go away and get scalped on amazon, where a simple charging adaptor and some rubber buds cost 50% of the value I paid for the headphones. The battery is below average and the sound is ok. There are absolutely better brands out there to buy and I'd highly recommend avoiding this one at all costs.

they cut in and out regularly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they cut in and out not matter how close my phone is. In my opinion they are a step down from the X3 I had. Not worth the money or hassle, definitely shop around.

Dont buy these headphones!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have beeen a long time user of Jaybirds and was excited to get the X 4 which I purchaced in February. After 3 months they stopped working-they would charge green but would not turn on or reset. After multiple email exchanges I got a second pair from the company which did the same thing after one charge. Looking on line this appears to be a known problem with the product.

- Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
- Try a different power source/charger
- Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
- Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2 hours,
- To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
- Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
- Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

Great Earbuds: Fail quickly.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was nice for about 5 months. I run through most earbuds extremely fast because I sweat a ton, but I've had 30 dollar earbuds last almost 2 years before failing.

I don’t even know how this happened
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly very disappointed in this product. I’ve had them for barely 6 months and they completely stopped working out of the blue. To my surprise this is a known issue with Jaybird and I have concluded I won’t be seeking a replacement from the manufacturer. Not worth my time. Do not buy this product.
