The earbuds are just about the same sound wise and battery wise as the X3 if you were wondering. I prefer the X3 over these since the shortening of the cable is neater than the huge knot that the cord leaves on these. Foam tips sound good but break over time, warranty helps a lot with these.

I liked these at first, then the comfort ear pieces kept coming off the device. It drove me insane. I would have given them a higher score if this hadn’t happened because they have decent sound quality, and an app to enhance them.

I got these Jaybird X4 wireless headphones specifically for using under my helmet while riding my motorcycle. The last pair I had were great but had a measly 3 hour battery life, and I am on my bike many days for 6-8 hours and needed something with more battery life. So far the only negative is these have a proprietary charging cable, so you cannot use USB-C or Micro USB if you happen to lose or leave the charger behind. But this is not enough to take away from my overall rating. These charged up for the first time fairly quickly, 2 hrs I believe, so not to bad. My bike is fairly quiet and I use a full face helmet, the sound levels on the Jaybirds are very good and I can easily hear the music, podcasts or whatever Im listening to over the wind, road and engine noise. The quality of sound is very good as well. I'm always amazed at how much sound quality can come out of these small earbuds. Rich bass, nicely defined mid tones, and clear, crisp high tones are what I am getting out of these earbuds. The biggest positive for me has been how comfortable these are even under my helmet. I can have these in for several hours and no soreness at all. I also like the fact that every Jaybird product Ive owned so far has a very nice carry case, huge plus. Sometimes these little details make a huge difference. I certainly they are listening and continue with this, it makes my travels so much easier. I just toss in the charging cable and the extra buds and I have everything I need in a nice small easy to carry package, Thank you for that! If I had one small complaint it would be no noise cancelling, but I understand they were never advertised that way and noise cancelling adds $$ to the overall cost. As I said earlier, the sound is so good and the volume levels are so good that Noise cancelling is just a luxury, and takes nothing away from these earbuds. Lastly, there is an app that you can download giving you some added control over the sound, and I'd recommend using the app. You have a decent EQ that you can set custom profiles for different types of music. I have 15 profiles set up which is probably overkill, but I like the fact that I can do this and I use all of them. There are also several preset profiles for every genre of music and you can try and save any of them to your custom EQ profiles. This is a well thought out and useful app, unlike some others Ive tried. Overall these are fantastic earbuds and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wireless BT earbuds.

Love the sound quality. The assistant voice is also much quieter than the previous model which was a much needed improvement.

I bought these earbuds based upon the recommendation of the in-store salesperson. After reading lots of online reviews and articles, I went into the store with the mindset to buy Bose or Beats, but allowed the salesperson to convince me to try these. From day one, when I use them for phone calls, the person in the other end of the call says they can't hear me, that I sound like I'm very far away from my phone. The only thing I can do to be able to use these earbuds and help them hear me is to attach the clip to the nose piece/bridge of my glasses. I use earbuds to accept calls when I'm driving rather than taking my eyes off the road, so I'm sure I look ridiculous with these things hanging from the bridge of my glasses. It's extremely frustrating. The charging "cord" is only a few inches long, which makes charging the earbuds challenging. It leaves them dangling from the wall or the port in the car, or you can use an extension cord from the wall, plug your charging brick (which you have to supply because one does not come with the earbuds) into that, and leave that whole setup laying somewhere (on a nightstand, desk, or whatever). It is frustrating, as it seems to always end up in the floor because the end of the extension cord and charging brick are so much heavier than the earbuds. Leaving them dangling from the plug-in has only resulted in them becoming a very expensive cat toy. Also, the charging cord does not connect very securely to the earbuds. I have plugged them up numerous times, only to come back and find that they had detached themselves and hadn't been charging. Again, VERY frustrating! The clip that attaches to the cord does not stay on very well. Because of this, I accidentally lost them once already, but got lucky and found them a few days later. I attempted to use the feature to locate them, but had no success with that. It does direct you somewhat close to the last place they MAY HAVE been used, but if they're turned off or the battery is dead, this feature is pretty much useless. These earbuds come with a few different sizes (3, I think) of ear pieces, but only 2 of each. Unfortunately, they come off very easily, so don't get too attached to any one particular size. Every time I do, the next thing I know, I go to use them and one side is missing the cushion. On the positive side, they are definitely noise canceling. They block out almost all other sounds. The sound quality is just ok, but nothing like what you get from over the ear headphones. They do sometimes mess with my equilibrium a little when I first put them in my ears, but taking one back out for a little bit helps that. The bottom line for me is that I regret buying these earbuds and wish I could return them for the Bose earbuds that I had intended to buy. I would not recommend these earbuds.

These headphones have amazing sound and plus you can adjust the sounds quality through the app to fit your environment. Highly recommend!

I have owned several pairs of jaybird and they are the best headphones when working out or just talking on the phone.

I mainly use these headphones for work and are amazing! Headphones never fall out as long as you have a good fit and I prefer the foam plugs.

I had to swap a pair of x3's I had bought due to battery issues. Note go online and see how you are supposed to charge these, If you leave them on the charger or use a wall outlet it will burn them up. On the plus side I used the Best Buy Warranty Exchange and it was perfect.

The design is better. It does not flop around as much and the battery is much lighter. It still causes some discomfort in my ears at times. Also, the ear piece fit so snug that it creates a suction affect and fill like my ear is going to pop. Sound is great.

A must have for any gym enthusiast! Perfect for running they never fall off and the app gives it a great addition to your preference

These are the best earphones I've ever owned don't let the name scare you I had Beats that were not even close and these were cheaper.

Really great sound quality and material i highly recommend they are great for a workout or just jamming out.

I have been using these headphones since they came out, they are great they have great sound and they are high quality for hard workouts.

I had the Jaybird X3 headphones, but they failed after about 18 months. The X4 headphones are very similar but I like the ear-tips/wings from the X3 set. The X3 ear-tips/wings fit on the X4 headphones as well so I just switched them out.

Bought these to workout at the gym. I sweat a lot and these last. Don’t have any issues with sound or quality. Great product.

These headphones are just like the x3s which I loved the cord is nice and doesn’t flop when running. The options for ear prices are perfect for my ears but only comes with three choices. Overall great headphones and the app is awesome to control them.

Got these for my son in law and he loves them! They dont slip off at all and he doesn't hear anything except his misic.
