I like the big bass and sharp sound like yhe movies

Wonderful sounder. Only thing is that the lowest volume isn't low enough for me sometimes. Mounting is easy too

The soundbar sounds great and looks sleek. Some of the reviews complain of crackling sound but we haven’t experienced that.

If you’re looking for a deep - house shaking - bass sound, look no further. the amount of bass this thing provides is insane for the price- and i paid $350 for it. If you can get it on sale at $200 its a steal. Works great via eARC hdmi with my 97” sony bravia tv

Excellent, simple to set up and operate. Sounds great on movies, music, and ordinary television shows.

I am nothing but happy with this purchase. I was considering a different brand, and the salesperson turned on this unit. It was like night and day, and the sun was shining bright. To be fair, we have a pretty small house, so this unit isn't trying to fill a theatre room, but the sound is profound gives that theatre feel. The highs are high without being brittle, the mids are strong, and the bass is substantial without breaking. So far, the dialogue in everything we have watched, whether streaming or on disc, has been clear and present. Again, I am very happy with this purchase.

Ok so i thought i was gonna here a little bit more base then i thought but on the other hand my family usually tells me i cant hear which is why there always screaming st me lol so my family said it sounds just fine quality is there sound is on point just wish it could of been a bit louder

Make sure you put the woofer on the ground. The boom in the woofer is nice and loud and feels like the movie, although sometimes the dialogue can be low, but overall the whole systems is a great improvement to the tv's audio and makes watching movies and music videos enjoyable

Awesome sound easy connect. Using the optical cable makes life easy syncs right into the tv. Just hit power on the tv or cable service provider remote.oh the bass is everything if that’s what your looking for. I’m using it in my bedroom.

I'm really enjoying this item. Overall it has quality sound. I wouldn't recommend this particular model if you're trying to put sound in a larger room. I currently have it in my living room but it's more of a bedroom sound bar.

Great product so far! 4 stars because at times, it sounds like the bass can overwhelm the actual volume. On older tv’s, it doesn’t seem to sync up as well as far as turning it on and off with the same remote for both. Overall, great purchase considering the price and the bass is awesome!

I got it on sale for 220, it sounds great when set up certain properly great base and enhances movie quality. Max volume is 32 isn't crazy loud at max and quality sounds weak at max around 28 is perfect.

Sound is crisp and subwoofer is a mice free addition. A little difficult with setup though.

Very nice product from JBL. Great voice quality for TV with enough bass to add punch to the experience. Very easy to connect to the TV and to bluetooth. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again and recommend to friends/family.

This is the 2019 (JBL is in black on the sub), so called “deep bass” version of the JBL 2.1 sound bar and sub; the prior release was the 2017 model (JBl is in white on the sub). Sadly, the 2017 model has more adjustments via remote, to increase/decrease the treble, bass etc and even what mode amplification you prefer the Audio (music, movie, stereo, etc). The 2019 remote has nothing for adjustments other than a bass increase of L,M,H and one other setting that mutes out most of the bass. What’s the point of an upgrade that in all technicalities a downgrade??!!!! All in all, the 2017 sounds better with my preferred adjustments. Returning this higher end model and hoping to find another ‘17 model. Not to mention, this is about $100 more for no advancement.

Great sound and a easy all in one package set up up and running ins jus a few minutes. Great sound and quality sound even for a big room. The bass is very strong and not over drowning very evenly proportioned

I've done a lot of homework on choosing a SoundBar. I want good sound, decent display / user interface, if I pause a show it the SB should not "Power Off" (super annoying, and many of them do), and the ability to have my TV or Apple TV remote work to adjust the volume. BOOM! After trying Yama**a & returning it, I picked this one up after being really impressed wit the sound at the BB store display. The ability to hear many different SB's inside the store is a huge PLUS and I am loyal to BB for this reason. Anyway, I recommend this SB for the follwing : 1. has great, bright, balanced & natural sound that JBL is known for, 2. adjustable bass level, easy to switch from Low, Mid, or High right from the remote ; 3. white alphanumeric LED display (hidden in the front grille) lets you know what volume level you're at, what Bass level you've selected, and what source you've selected (Bluetooth, HDMI, or TV / optical input) It'll flash a message when you change one of these parameters, stays on for 3 seconds then disappears so as not to be distracting - PERFECT! 4. TWO different / selectable listening modes "Enhanced" for movies, "Standard" for talk / news, etc. 5. Software is updateable via USB port on the rear. I've had other SB's that are so frustrating and painful to use. This one fits every one of my requirements. Be aware that it does NOT have 'voice assist' such as Alexa, Google assist etc etc. Some folks appreciate having those features and if that's you, I'd check another model. Personally I dont use those on a SB. I am running this in a rather large family room and the sound is perfect. Highly recommend if you dont care about Alexa! Read the manual at JBL.COM to discover the features I described above, as they are not printed in the quick start guide.
