I did need to look up how to set this up correctly with the x-box but it is easy. One HDMI from xbox into the speaker and one out of the speaker into the TV. If that didn't show the picture switch your HDMI cable and boom you got sound and picture! Sound is great. We use it for xbox and laptops and bluetooth phones.
