I always thought of JBL as quality products and I decided to spend $300+ on this soundbar/subwoofer to replace a 5+ year old Vizio soundbar/subwoofer. Everything was great until I got home from work and my subwoofer was dead. It wont power on at all. This lasted me less fhan 2 years and it was outside of the 1 year warranty. I cannot recommend this product.

Returned and replaced with a Samsung. Not too happy with the Samsung either. Going to bite the bullet and get a Sonus

Mine didn't come with a remote, so I couldn't connect the subwoofer to see how it sounds. However, the sound bar sounds terrible - worse than the stock speakers built into my 7 year old TV, even. I am so disappointed - it's being returned.

This is a sound bar designed for people who think quality sound just means more bass. It crushes the high notes and blends everything together with the bass coming in way too strong even on the low setting for the subwoofer. I expected better from JBL. I ended up returning it and replacing with a Denon 3.1 instead
