This sound bar sounds quite good. The sub is FAR over-powered (for lack of a better term) for this bar, so I have to keep its volume to around 13-15. There are zero audio controls (bass / mid / treble) -- you only have four "sound modes" to select from, and three of them sound the same to me. For watching TV shows and listening to music, it's been an excellent product - just wish JBL had let us have a bit finer control over the EQ...

Have been a big fan of Harman kardon and when I found out jbl is made by them I took the time to review and listen before purchase I can tell you not only does it sound amazing but it that expensive look. I own a 2 storry house and you can feel everything shaking when playing music I love it plus this is the first time I actually pay over my budget plan and it is deffenetly worth it

This soundbar offers all the sound I need for my living room. Like the wireless subwoofer.

This bar is awesome, yeah its a little more expensive because its a 3.1 but the sound is phenomenal! Easy setup using ARC and the bar is instant sound for my TV using only one factory remote! Oh, and the subwoofer... this thing is huge, bigger than a lot of wired systems and easy control. Take the plunge, you won't regret it.

The sound out of this is well above of all my Vizio soundbars where they tend to sound tinny even the newest ones 7.1 sound really tinny compared to this beast. I looked at all available listened to all the only one that came at the same level was the high end Sony for $1200 .. Definitely the unsung hero of soundbar and even for my music I play from my phone..

Must admit, was pricing out a full home theater system. Receiver, tower speakers, center, surround and a subwoofer. Klipsch all around with a Yamaha receiver. All in all around $2200. But I must say this system is truly all I need. Treble and bass control is just right. Streaming Netflix and 4K movies on Apple TV sound amazing!! Will definitely recommend this set up to any friends that are shopping for great sound!

This soundbar does NOT disappoint. It's loud, It's clean. and it'll stop your grannies heart! The JBL Bar 3.1 has awesome highs, super clear and rich mids, but the main part of the show, the BASS. It hits hard, shakes the whole house, and is clean. This sub sounds likes it's straight out of a movie theater. Buy this and you will scoff at other soundbars in the store.

If you don’t like loud crystal clear voices and bass that is loud enough to shake your house to it’s foundation...this is NOT I repeat this is NOT the sound bar system for you. If your like me and you love all that stuff then BUY THIS SOUND BAR IMMEDIATELY!! This thing rocks and I absolutely love it. My 17 yr old twin boys wanted to trade me back my old system for my new one...seriously this things is awesome !!!!

Setting up the sounds system was easy, price was good, sounds great!

Not much of a reviewer tbh. But since I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase I’ll give one. I’m sure there’s lots of audiophiles out there looking for specific taste. I personally love a deep bass and the Best Buy employee recommended me the JBL 3.1. Test it out at the store compre to the other sound bars and got hooked quick. So far so good, I’m jamming out everyday

I was looking for a compact sound bar system with big sound. This was more than expected! Voices are clear and the bass is very filling (my living room is 18'X14'). Everything unpacked easy and setup was pretty straight forward. The only thing that I didn't like is that it didn't come with screws to mount it to a wall. Other than that I would highly recommend.

Ive owned this soundbar for about 8 months now and its ahhhmazing! Great amplifying from sub woofer, rattles my whole floor. The only issue I had was trying to connect the sub woofer to the soundbar, i easily you-tubed it and was able to connect but overall great product don't think twice.

It has awesome sound, highs and lows. The subwoofer is wireless.
