Nice rich sound, best part is connectivity, flip from Bluetooth with push of a button and really does work. Base is deep and very adjustable, highs are rich and adjustable. Nice purchase and BB rocks the price match good family purchase.

I was looking for a sound bar that could double as a sound system for music. This bar is loud enough for me and my neighbors to hear outside and the bass is impeccable. I get compliments from guests all the time when watching movies. One of the best purchases I've made for the house.

The price was amazing for this soundbar and I found the quality to be great! We have it hooked up to our family room tv and the base is great for movies. I have no complaints. Set up is easy and the sound quality is great for the price!

I am very happy with this unit. It may have a slight lack in the mid tier range, but overall it's got an amazing clarity and the bass is extremely powerful. With all the different sound settings, plus control of the subwoofer, you won't be disappointed adding this for movie night or video games. Recommended!

Not great on all types of music, but overall good, clear, and base is balanced well. A little difficult to sync, instructions are poor, but youtube can help with that. Not an easy plug and play like many systems are, but always a fan of JBL's home audio.

I bought my first JBL sound bar system about 18 months ago and was hooked immediately. Easy to set up, simple to operate, and nice features on the remote. The reason I am writing this review is to emphasize that this is my 2nd JBL 3.1 sound bar system after thinking I was upgrading to the newer and supposedly better JBL 5.1 sound bar. After speaking with a Best Buy salesman, who was extremely nice, he said without a question the 5.1 was a better system. NOT EVEN CLOSE. There is no way he had heard the 5.1 yet, and I simply went on his advice. I returned the 5.1 the very next day and got my 2nd JBL 3.1 system. This 3.1 system is the way to go if you’re a JBL fan. Don’t even think about the JBL 5.1, at least in my opinion. More on that in my 5.1 review.

Just amazing sound from a compact system. The soundbar has great clarity and detail thanks to a dedicated center channel speaker, and two outbound left and right channels. The separate Bluetooth-enabled subwoofer provides more than plenty low-end for for the heavier bass enthusiasts.

I needed a system to improve voice / dialogue sound and have been impressed with this unit. It was what I needed without paying big bucks. The bass is incredible and has made watching movies and concerts fun again but more importantly for me was being able to understand people talking without having to strain.

I really feel like it's a movie theater when watching movies. The sound is amazing!

Was looking for a sound bar that would not overpower the room but yet give a better quality of sound compared to the TV speakers. This sound bar fits our needs. Since we are still learning the only thing I would say is some tv shows have a bit of echo. I’m sure this is user error

I had a traditional AV receiver with surround sound and 9 speakers and replaced all of it with this! Used the ARC HDMI on my TV to attach to the sound bar - and, WOW!, best decision ever! Really helped that Best Buy has Price Match guarantee. Have recommended this to many friends!

Woooooooww great sound very easy to install i looked around for a soundbar for a while decided to buy this one over Bose and all the other brands price wasnt an issue i just wanted quality sound and this bar met my expectations

This sound bar is simply AWESOME. It took a while to get the sub woofer to connect which was extremely annoying but thanks to a lot of YouTube videos I got it up and running. I simply love it. Best part is it connects to my Samsung TV. I use one remote for but TV and sound Bar!

I had to replace an Episode 2.1 soundbar & sub & this fit the spot perfectly. I only use it on my TV but I believe the sound is great! The sub woofer is just what I wanted for watching movies and shows. Got on 6 months no interest, so that made it that much easier to purchase!

Great sound & bass. Sounds great with movies, games, & music. Only issue is it “turns off” if there are anything more than 3 seconds of silence then turns on about a second after sound plays. Its mostly an issue when navigating menus but its still pretty annoying

The sound this 3.1 sound bar puts out is nothing short of beautiful. It’s clear and crisp. The subwoofer bumps impressively. My only complaint is with ARC there is a very short lag after no sound. This mostly causes problems with video games, as I haven’t noticed it while watching movies or tv.

The additional 3rd channel makes it really good for shows and movies with a lot of dialogue. The different sound modes makes it convenient to adjust the different eq levels. This is especially nice, because the subwoofer definitely puts out plenty of power and will need to be adjusted for casual viewing for most users.

We did our research before deciding on the JBL. At the price point, can’t beat the sound!!! Mega bass with the powered sub, great sound quality overall and dialogue isn’t distorted at any point... great for watching movies and Bluetooth streaming music! PC mag editor choice! Super happy with this purchase!!

Love this sound bar. I was going to get a cheaper model, then heard the demo on this one. I got a great deal around the holidays, but it would have been worth it anyway. Sounds like you are inside the movie. I wanted one without extra speakers and this was perfect.
