Normally I go with all Samsung electronics, but chose this one because of the price. Great sound and very nice bass. Ordered it NEW online for delivery. When I received it you tell it was used and damaged. Returned to the store no hassle for an exchange.

I tried a few other sound bars in this price range. I’m very pleased with it. Volume is excellent, and then sound quality is great too. The subwoofer really shakes the room when you want it to. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish it was expandable to 5.1. There isn’t any way to have rear speakers

Annoyingly, I like this soundbar more than I'd hoped I would. Bought this to replace a Bose system that was less than impressive. Boy, was I sure blown away by this system!!! The bass is UNBELIEVABLE. I like to feel my insides shake when bass notes drop, and even I keep this bar at bass level 15 (of 30). It gets LOUD, with no distortion. Negatives - Surround sound sucks. Seriously, if you're buying a soundbar and expect to get great-quality surround-sound, you're lying to yourself. Either adjust expectations or buy a full surround system. That said, this is worse than most on the "surround" setting. Doesn't add any effect, just adds an echo to everything. Keep it off. - Input delay. I have this hooked up via HDMI ARC and the delay is noticeable. On AppleTV, it refuses to select any audio decoder but PCM, and navigating through menus is frustrating because only every 3rdish navigation has sound feedback. Once running, it's flawless. I reached out to JBL, and got a professionally-worded "Sorry, that's the way it is" response. Seriously. Buy this. You won't regret it, even in spite of the negatives.

I listenened to a number of sound bars at Best Buy but ultimately decided on this JBL bar due to price and sound. I am hard of hearing and needed a little more "oomph" than my current LG bar (6years old) produced. This JBL for a price of less than $500 hit all the buttons for me!

I had purchased a Samsung 55" TV from Best Buy in December. Great TV except, as warned by Geek Squad installer, sound volume was often poor. Purchased sound bar in early March, Geek Squad installer came same day! Solved problem, now my system is complete.

I received this about two weeks ago, and I cannot lie, set up was a little difficult for me. Once I finally got all the cords in place, and turned the sound up to 18 (which looking back that is hardly loud at all), the sound coming out of it did not sound as good as I had expected. I went back into the store since I thought the instructions wanted an optical cord, bought one, and then realized that the cord didn't fit into either the speaker or the TV. I was just about ready to give up when I turned up the volume a little more, and after it reached 20, the quality started showing. Now that I am over my embarrassment, I have gotten to see how nice of a speaker system this is. The only problem is that since I keep my TV volume so low, I am not able to experience how great of a speaker this is, every day. I think that if you are buying this system for a home theatre, this is perfect for you, but if you're buying this for an apartment/duplex/etc., you might not get to fully use the system

The sound is very nice and I like that the sub is wireless, but you think you could get a better remote for the price, It's always sticking and seems like I have to hit the button multiple times for it to work.

I bought this soundbar system in hopes of improving our ability to understand verbal dialog when watching our LG 65" TV. People's voices had taken a back seat to the excessively loud music and sound effects experienced when watching most broadcast TV programs. WOW what a difference! How enjoyable watching TV has become with this soundbar. Very nice surround sound; clear voices; plenty of bass from the subwoofer; a true theater experience while watching movies. Would reccomend this soundbar system, with the understanding the true audiophile may find something better.... but not at the same price.

I was sold in the store, but this unit is awesome for watching tv, jamming out to tunes or helping the neighbors little guy get through the fireworks and a storm without a tear! Sound is crisp and clear. Unit is small enough to not look out of place, but can still make the windows shake!

This soundbar is refined for tv and even movie watching but when you need to crank it up for music it delivers. Huge amounts of bass when you need it. Not a bass lover? No problem...subwoofer adjustments can be made from 0 to 30. Even if it isn't on special it's still a bargain...

got this sound bar on sale for like 200$ off. very satisfied so far. bass really kicks in. like the advice the best buy associate gave me. sound bar from an audio company is almost always better than one from a t.v. company. its what they do.

This is excellent sound equipment ,very easy to operate .it adapt very well to you TV.its has a powerful output to show...I recommended this’ll purchase to a friend . I’m sure will be satisfied with this investment .Good quality to movies and music..I give 5/5

I bought this sound bar for my father who has a pair of hearing aids. You see the TV wasn’t putting out a clear, crisp sound so the bar is better for him to listen to. He also enjoys playing his music through his phone on the bar.

From the day I start listening to jbl I can’t go back to any other neither i can consider buying Bose anymore it has tones of base and highs and mids are super good sounds premium and natural only thing I have found average is movie dialogues so you have raise volume for clarity

Really great sound overall and one of the cheaper models on the floor actually. Only complaint is that sometimes the volume controls are a little slow to respond. Leading to multiple clicks up or down to get it to the intended volume. Highs and lows are great and the bass is perfect.

Purchased as part of a home entertainment theater system. The sound is phenomenal and easily integrates into other components, even different makes including my Samsung LED TV. The highs are really high, and the lows can even be felt. Great product for any audiophile.

I purchased the JBL 3.1 after listening to 15 different soundbars. I wanted a soundbar that reproduced sound as intended, without that manufactured sound of which so many seem to suffer. I will be using this strictly for movies and TV, listening to music is not a primary function or concern. The 3 HDMI inputs are great as I wanted to keep the TV connections to a minimum. It also features an optical, analog and USB port as well as built in Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Setup was a breeze, wireless subwoofer sync was quick and easy, Bluetooth as well. Bass response is strong without being overpowering, you can adjust as needed. It comes with pre-programmed listening modes as well (standard/music/movie, etc). The difference is subtle at best. It comes with analog and HDMI cables. You'll need additional cables based upon how you plan on connecting. If your primary concern is TV and movies give this a listen.

Jbl has been around for Ever in car audio so I would only think they would be good at home and what do you know. They are. Sounds crisp and bass has very good lows being for the price and size of the sub and bar it’s a very good deal can’t wait for more updates

After listening to several sound bars in the store, this one gave me the best sound, for the best price. In my home it definitely makes our home sound like a theater experience. Periodically there is a high pitches sound it emits and I need to find out what that is about.

Great sound, especially the room shaking bass. Watching tv and movies sound so much better with this system. Not 5.1 or better surround sound, but this is really good for a small to medium sized room.
