Not bad sound but HORRIBLE remote control range

Huge sub gives a lot of base but beware, the remote control has to be within 10-15 and pointed dead on to work.. even the slightest off center angle and the soundbar doesn’t see it. After I bought this and instantly ran into the issue, I started doing research on this. One guy disassembled it, found the remote receiver and drilled a freaking hole in the metal mesh so his remote would work normally. For me this is a deal breaker. If I can’t lay on my couch and adjust the volume without doing acrobatics with the remote to work it’s worthless.

JBL 3.1 soundbar

I picked it up and installed it completely from the box in about 30 minutes. Turned on Pandora and it sounded great. Love the clear voice and the bass is perfect. Great system and really enhances our viewing and listening experience. Not one regret.

Takes some time to find the sweet spot base setting that works for most channels and other sources. Easy to adjust on the fly also. Love the sound! Had it for over a year now and no problems other than having crooked picture frames on wall after cranking up the volume!

Couldn't beat the price either. It was on sale for $299.00 on Black Friday weekend. I'm very satisfied with it. I had looked at the Klipsch RSB-11 but realized it was only a 2.1 soundbar and the JBL is a 3.1 Channel Soundbar. It also has wireless bluetooth connection and the subwoofer is wireless.
