The 10 in sub delivers a very nice high power amount of bass perfect for a shop area or living room. Along with the soundbar sounding crystal clear, this sound system is a steal for what its priced at.

Purchased this in combination with a new TV set for my parents. Both are getting hard of hearing and this fit the bill. The sub-woofer is not as loud as I had expected, but they have had no complaints.

I spent alot of time online searching for the best home theater system while quarantining. JBL went over and beyond on this item I enjoy the Bluetooth feature and syncing to the TV remote for ease.

I wanted something that would shake the room if I wanted and have a clean sound, without having to purchase a 5.1 system and a receiver too. If you are in the same position and want a quality sound, this system is for you!

I had a sound bar and subwoofer prior to this one. I could not hear voices over the booms and music. Now I can and I enjoy movies, football, and concerts. Be aware the subwoofer is big and loud if you do not turn it down.

I couldn't get the blue tooth to work. I read online reviews and found that many other customers were having the same problem. After struggling for 30 minutes, the blue tooth began working. Haven't had any problems since.

I bought this sound bar because of the JBL name. This replaced a Bose sound bar that I had. Man, this thing is LOUD!!! Way better than the Bose I spent almost double on. Definitely would recommend.

Once we finally got the installation problem resolved it has been good. However, the store demo seemed like it had more clarity between the voices and background noise then we have with our system. Don’t know the cause of that.

So over all it's a solid speaker with a big sub woofer. If you were just going to listen to music this would be a great product as music sounds great. However it mostly fails at TV audio. The audio sounds muddled and not clear. Either the bass is too high or too for speaking so sun titles are almost a must. Overall I'm super bummed about this purchase.

It would be nice to be able to set the eq to your own ear. It has four different settings to choose from, but they aren’t the best for my ears. Instructions could be more complete as far as troubleshooting is concerned.

Wow. Huge bass if you want it. Clean and clear dialogue and setup is simple. Long Bluetooth range so you can put sub anywhere within reason. Optical cord or hdmi. Great price.

I use this product to suppliment my TV speakers. The volume control isn't very accurate and it often becomes too loud while trying to turn up my TV speakers. Other than that, it works very well.

I totally love the sound system. I am a musician who loves plenty of Base. But also love it for the movies. This system has plenty of low-end bass!!! For the money you cannot go wrong with this system!

I bought this in September 2019. The sound is great, but I've experienced some significant issues and am now on my THIRD unit. The first problem is the remote quality. It's bad. The buttons are easy enough to press, but the bar seems to register about only 50% of them. Yes, I've replaced batteries, made sure I'm pointing it directly at the unit, etc. etc. I'm only 10 feet away, and every other remote I have works just fine. The remote itself feels like it will break on the first drop, which is exciting. The second problem started happening right away after I bought it. The soundbar puts itself to sleep during quiet periods in movies and TV shows. This means you miss dialogue because the soundbar turns itself back on when it detects sound/signal, but by then it's too late and you miss part of the dialogue. The problem is especially apparent when watching animated shows like South Park and Rick & Morty. It's basically unwatchable. Another example is using my Xbox. I should be hearing "clicks" every time I move through an option on the Xbox GUI. Instead, I usually hear nothing with random clicks. Yet another example is searching through Amazon Video, Hulu, or Netflix. I should be hearing a "click" or a "whoosh" when browsing, but instead it's mostly silence with random sounds as the bar turns itself off/on repeatedly. JBL support asked me to make sure the bar was on the latest firmware (it was) and then perform a factory reset (I did). No change. JBL then asked me to ship the entire unit (remote, cables, sub, bar) back. Luckily I saved the original packaging, so this was relatively easy to do. I shipped it in late December, and it arrive at JBL on 1/7/20. I just received the replacement unit on 1/17/20. Unfortunately, it was damaged during shipping and I can't use it. I will now have to wait another couple of weeks for the THIRD unit to arrive before I can test to see if the sound issues are resolved. Like I said, I'm really disappointed with this purchase. I wish I would have went with a Samsung bar.

Purchased a new JBL 3.1 channel soundbar system on sale for about 40% off. The sound is comparable to our Bose system. The sales assistant was very knowledgeable and a comfort to work with.

I put it down in my man cave, and it sounded great. Having some issues with my surround sound but we should figure it out soon. I bought this on sale and the price I could not pass it up.

If you’re looking for great bass I highly recommend this sound bar from JBL. Very easy hookup. Bought 2 metal straps from Home Depot for $3.00 each to hookup to my TV mount. Highly recommend this over others.

The sound produced by this soundbar and subwoofer is great. It is crystal clear with fantastic simulated surround. My only complaint is there are no separate treble, mid and bass controls. Sometimes the sound is too high and crispy.

It took some online research on which HDMI port to use, but once I got that, it connected very quick to the TV. Great sound and the dedicated speaker for people talking is Fantastic!

Solid sound on this unit. I upgraded my older unit for this. The store clerk told me about the quality of JBL and i was sold. The bluetooth connectivity for the sub was an added bonus. Highly recommend.
