I am really inpressed with this sound bar. you gives you the sound effect of being tin the theatre! Hook-up was easy! not a lot of wires either. You won't regret this purchase!

This thing is garbage. A pause or ANY interruption of your BT music at all results in an irreversible disconnect. It won't connect to my brand new Samsung 4K UHDTV at all any more. At best it only would after about 10 tries. New phone, old phone, don't matter. I hate this thing and it was money totally wasted. My JBL Charge 3, on the other hand couldn't be beat. 1/7 the price and 1000% better. Go figure.

We are glad we made this purchase. The original planned was to buy the Boss system however, it was out of our price range. We are very happy with this soundbar, less money and great quality.

I was considering a Bose system until I saw the price. A salesperson directed me towards the JBL 3.1 and I was blown away by the performance at the price it was being sold at! Purchased it on the spot!!!!

This unit is decent. It doesn’t rumble and it’s not 5.1 but it’s ok The Samsung product I had before this was terrible and I got this instead so it does work way better If I had more money I’d go bose

Nice unit, but i can say i had issues with surround sound playing Hulu from my x-box. A Roku worked fine with Hulu though. Had no issues with sound on any other apps on the x-box, only Hulu.

Was somewhat apprehensive about this because it was fairly inexpensive, but am happy with the sound it puts out for a family room. Connects easIly and always works.

I was already familiar with the JBL name in sound technology, so when we decided to purchase a soundbar, as this one was on sale at the time, we selected it. It meets our needs for our room size beautifully.

Powerful subwoofer, amazing clarity from the sound bar. 10x better than cheaper surround sound systems. Great if you like a little bump as well.

First, the mids are lacking just like the reviews say. I typically turn the mids down a bit so not a big deal for me. The bass _was_ very good with the sports settings, not all that impressive with the others. I had a JBL soundbar this replaced, it was a sb400 with the 8" sub that lasted about 5 years. That unit allowed you to adjust the crossover and gain on the sub woofer. This one does not and that is a big downside for getting the sub set where you want it. Especially given the price. Using the sport sound setting gets the crossover close to where I want it, but I'd rather just have the adjustments the SB400 had. About a day after I passed the 30 day return window at best buy the sub shut off. It would not come back on, no lights at all. I moved it to a couple of different outlets and it would not turn on. About 24 hours later I plugged it back in and it turned on and synced back up. Now the bass is at a very low volume- even if you turn the bass up to the max setting. It's barely present anymore. I'm in the process of a warranty exchange with JBL now, so we'll see how that goes. I'm a disappointed the sub failed. The 10" sub is the reason I bought this soundbar. I'm worried that even with a replacement it's something I'll end up seeing again. It's not a cheap soundbar and knowing what I know now, I would pass on it. If I could return it for a refund right now I would.

I have had a lot of sound bars but none even come close to this on I love it and when it stops working I will buy another one to replace it and the subwoofer is awesome too

Awesome sounds bar! I usually leave the subwoofer unplugged because it rattles my house. All in all, JBL hit a home run with this product!

It's a great speaker jbl got because we have one for our living room and works great .I would have rated 5 stars but I had to return my because it won't pair and I don't have that patients.

Streamlined my living room sound setup with this kit. The sound is incredible out of such a small low profile sound bar. Subwoofer is powerful enough to shake the room.

The reason we purchased a sound bar was because our tv speakers are on the back and with the tv sitting inside an entertainment center the sound was muffled. The sound bar accomplished our goal.

extremely happy with the system, escpecially ease of installation and location options. It would be nice to have different sound equalization or cross-over flexibility to tailor the sound

My first soundbar and I’m enjoying the improvement! Watching sports and movies is so much better now. The bass is rich and you can pick up on so many more background sounds! Love it!!!

My husband and I are really enjoying the JBL 3.1 Soundbar system. We got it for a great price on sale. Easy to hook-up and it make you feel like you are in a theatre.

As the title states, this soundbar sounds great. The only problem is it doesn't decode DTS tracks. Which wouldn't be so much of a problem if a decent portion of blu-rays weren't coded in it. If you watch a majority of your movies on streaming services, you're good. If you still use a good portion of blurays, look elsewhere
