Any button pressed on the cable remote (or universal) will also activate the last function used on the bar. Volume either goes load or all the way down while changing channels. Was told it’s a known issue with no current fix.

Geek squad didn’t explain things very good. They were in a big hurry to get out. What you pay to have hook it up and don’t take time to show or explain how it works is sad. RIP OFF!!!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this soundbar to upgrade to a 3.1 channel system from a 2.1 system previously used. I regret this purchase as the sound is no better than the 2.1 channel LG soundbar I was previously using. The main issue is the sound randomly cuts out while the TV is on. I have checked connections, used both optical and HDMI and verified this is not coming from the source. I've just learned to accept it as it conveniently began happening shortly after my return period ended. My advise to others, is save yourself the waste of money and find a different unit.

The sub woofer stopped working for an unknown reason like 2 wks after, but thankfully I was still able to exchange with no issues at Bestbuy.

Good sound but hoped for a little more. I also live in a townhouse and can't crank up the volume as much as I would like so that could be part of it. Good product but should be priced lower.
