Sound is great with powerfull bass movies,sports,and games sound realisticly great

These are great and the difference in sound quality from my TV speakers was HUGE and I could not believe I had settled for TV speakers before this. Every now and then the speakers sound weird, like it has a robot filter, and the only way to fix it is to turn the soundbar off and back on, but that's my only issue. The wireless speakers are amazing and my favorite feature of this.

I’m into like a month of having this thing. Best sound bar I’ve ever heard. Absolutely if you want theatre level entertain sound. This is it. Everything is easy to set up and it even has a feature to customize its sound based on the room and speaker placement. I just leave my speakers plugged in on usb charge so I don’t have to worry about the battery and the sound is absolutely amazing.

Works as expected. Great sound and good bass. The surround works great also.

I've had several sound bars including Samsung versions and even the JBL 5.1 version with detachable speakers similar to this one. The overall sounds quality on this is really nice with clear highs and lows. I typically have the sub on level 3 & it can go up to 5. Volume is usually no more than 12 when I use it & it can go up to 32! That should tell you a lot on how powerful this sound system is. There only thing that is annoying to me is that there is static coming from the system and I find out it's interference from my wifi mesh system in my home. It doesn't bother me enough especially when you're watching shows, etc.. since it's non-audible when there's something playing on it. I would compare this to the house 900 sound bar with subwoofer set up. Honestly would say both are equal, but Bose might take it since there's no static noise issues I've heard with that system.

I'm the type of person that has to research anything I buy specially when it comes to electronics. And I did. Went to many stores looking for sound bars to view and test and play with. Found good lower priced models but did not have that convincing sound I was looking for. Played with some higher priced models that sounded great but were double the price. Then I saw this JBL 9.1 and the sales rep at Best Buy showed me what it could do. I've owned quite a few JBL BT speakers and have always been happy with them. So I decided to look further in this model. Atmos on this unit is amazing and for half the price of some of the higher priced units that I really couldn't tell the difference. The sub can be raised to the level where it will have your home rattling. Love the detachable rear speakers. It does make a difference. Only reason I gave it a 4 star was that it has gone out of sync twice on me with my TV. A quick reset will fix it. Control is pretty basic but gets the job done. Basic bluetooth features like most. Overall though, love this system and would definitely recommend it. Great performance at a great price.

First off this thing is amazing. Sound quality is superb, two calibrations and you’re pretty much done. So to those toying with it or having trouble with it: If you’re using ARC through tv, make sure firmware is updated. It may also support e-ARC for atmos etc. Issue with Samsung: so far, netflix and Disney will not do atmos through the tv, it is not the sound bar, I swapped to the Apple 4k. Prime will work and do atmos through tv apps with arc. With Apple 4k and I’m sure others, you will hook it up through the hdmi in on the sound bar, keep the out in the arc hdmi port on the tv. The sound bar pops up as its own hdmi port. I renamed it Apple TV. It will still work perfectly fine. Atmos is amazing once set up and calibrated. When running the calibration, there are two. Put the two speakers on each end where people sit and calibrate, without turning off the system move them to where they will sit, calibrate 2 will happen.

Good product at first. Crossing the 60 day of use rear speakers stopped charging. They dock all night and when trying to watch a movie and detach message comes on to recharge, low battery. Will reach out to JBL directly for a replacement and warranty inquiry.

I understand that my purchase was open box, but my open box was (excellent) Best buy states that open box excellent, nothing SHOULD be missing. My cables were missing, and the most important, my controller was missing as well. Not JBL fault but BestBuy. I would rate it 5 stars but bestbuy let me down. Amazing bar

I was going to buy a Bose sound system. The employee informed me that they have trouble with connecting those coming from customer complaints. So he told me about the JBL and it’s been amazing!

I love this system. We used to have a different speaker that was about 4 years old, and put this system in its place. The bass is great, and the fact that we can move 2 of the speakers to different locations makes the movie experience even better
