I liked the bass response of the speaker, and it works with Alexa and Google assistants. However, the strong bass seems to overpower the treble response. It doesn't have the crisp sound of a Sonos Era 100, that I have. Even adjusting the bass and treble in the JBL app didn't seem to help. I also used the aux input (which is a plus for JBL, since an extra adapter needs to be purchased to have an aux input on the Sonos). However, using it with a synth keyboard, I noticed a half second delay (perhaps due to DSP processing). This is not acceptable when playing live music. I returned the Authentics 200, but if you like bass and are only streaming music, it may work for you.

This is an average speaker, the sound quality was decent but i couldnt tell when the bass and treble was added because the markers on the dials arent numbered, i didnt like the power cord being the on off button, i had a time trying to get the cord to stay in, my LG speaker is far better than this JBL speaker so i returned the JBL speaker which i felt was overpriced for such a small speaker.

I'm not sure if it's something wrong with mine, but is not at all close to the others reviews. The sound is decent but is far away from other competitors in that price range. Not even close to Sonos Era 100, Audio Pro C5 MKII or Marshall Acton III.

Bought a open box excellent. Worked well for the 1st week.. then no sound. Couldnt figure it out. Sounded great when it was working...should if bought a new unit.

I truly expected this to be louder. Same sound quality as the JBL flip I have and not much louder.
