I literally plugged the HDMI cord into the TV and it was ready to go! The sound is great with a deep, rich bass that was much better than I was anticipating - especially coming from a Bose system. The only thing I had some trouble with was the software update. It kept failing, but eventually worked. Not a fan of the app. It doesn't support YouTube Music and just seems outdated. That being said, it's just a required feature, so I don't really care. Good system overall!

Absolutely phenomenal sound quality. It just surround you the whole entire room. You think there's things going on behind you and over here you know to your right to your left up above. You know it's it is so amazing in the base is wow. I had no idea what I actually purchased was 880 watts of pure beastly power!!! I can't wait to watch transformers or the matrix on this beast!!!

Awesome when watching movies and TV content, Love the detachable "rear" speakers. Huge rumbling bass, clear dialogue and great ATMOS experience. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it falls short when the primary use case is music at higher volume. Sound bars just can't keep up with larger component speaker / AV Receiver setups. It's purely physics. But as far as a sound bar system goes, it's the best under $1000 system I've heard.

After a few months of using this, this has been an amazing addition to our living room movie experience. We didn't have to run wires or have the hassle of placing external speakers on both sides, we just unplug the detachable speakers and place it both sides of the couch. It calibrates fairly well and gives a 360 degree sounds experience. Bass is good, treble is fairly ok. Retains charge for 2 movies back to back.

I am completely in love with my JBL Bar 1000 soundbar and wireless subwoofer setup. This thing is an absolute beast and has transformed my living room into a full-on cinema experience. The Dolby Atmos is incredible – sounds come at you from every direction, with overhead effects that feel so realistic it's almost eerie. I have to turn it down sometimes because it literally rattles the windows! It handles everything – movies, music, gaming – with stunning clarity and power. For the price, this is hands-down one of the best soundbars on the market. I very much recommend the JBL Bar 1000 to anyone wanting theater-quality sound at home. If you're on the fence, just go for it – you won't regret it! Worth every single penny.

Very happy with this. Easy to connect, always turns on and off with my TV control (which should be a given but wasn't the case for my last soundbar). Sounds great! Full bass. Love the detachable surround and easy charge.

Love the base. Total volume level is 32 but most of the time I am at 20 with all crystal clear sounds with super bass. Now I love to watch 4k video with theatrical sound.

A bit tough to connect with tv but that's just me. Love the bass, clear 4d sound, could be much louder, and don't forget to update the software

After remolding my living room, I updated the furniture and entertainment center. My family and I went to Best Buy to purchase a Samsung Sound Bar but left with the JBL instead. I can honestly say that it is a decision I don't regret. The sound from the speakers is so crisp and clear, the bass is so powerful, and the options for a surround sound experience are impressive. Sounds great and the detachable surround speakers are a perfect solution for my cramped studio apartment. I love the subwoofer. Worth it on sale.

Good sound, great feature of wireless rear speakers rechargeable on the front bar or by usb ports. Bad: flimsy brackets design on rear speakers; do not match bracket system of any available speaker stands - must improvise (which should be done by JBL engineers and designers)

Unbelievable sound bar the the money. Has great mids and highs and the 10 inch woofer puts out the best base that i have heard yet. The detachable speakers for surround sound makes it all the better. I love it. I would definitely recommend to give the a try.

What can I say about this speaker set that hasn’t been said. The bass friggin bumps. The clarity is pristine. My only issue was at one point one of the surround speakers started getting staticky but I moved my router (they were on the same little table) and it immediately stopped. And I got an absolute KILLER deal on an open box. (I won’t say how much to make anyone jealous, just trust)

High quality soundbar system. Treble and bass tones are rich and not tinny sounding with big bass capability. Wireless surround rear speakers are pretty great, too.

This sound bar is the real deal. The sound that comes out of this is deep and amazing. I bought it to pair with my brand new LG 2024 C4 OLED. As soon as I plugged it in, it fired right up. The directions were easy to follow and setup was a breeze. The detachable sattelite speakers were what sold me and they don’t disappoint. Once they are detached, you can lace them anywhere in the room. And once you get them set, you hit callibrate on the remote and after about 20 sexonds or so, you have really a cool background. I love the NFL and all sposrts in general. The front bar during the game game me the announcers voices. The sattelites gave me the crown and even the in stadium announcer. It was really cool and im looking forward to next sunday. This sound bar is expensive, but its worth it. The sound is rich and movie theater like. JBL nailed this one.
