I was surprised that it sounded the same as in the store. We are still learning it however with my husband being former DJ. He is really impressed with the sound. I'd give it a 10/10.

Compared to others I tested, I wasn’t won over. The sound quality is less than Sonos and sennheiser. One notable thing to say is that the sub hits much deeper than the 33hz they claim. 23hz is more accurate. The top reason to buy this is for the surround speakers. They double as portable Bluetooth speakers. You are basically getting to jbl charge speakers with this purchase.

I had read a bunch of reviews saying the sound was good and loud, the sound is indeed good but definitely not as loud as I expected. The bass is really good though I will say.

[Employee of bestbuy] I would give this sound bar a 4.5 because I wish the surround speakers were louder like the speakers in the sound bar as I have to be sitting right next to the surround speakers in order to hear them. I have them turned on high and used the calibrate option, and they are fully charged. Other than that, as others have mentioned, the sound is very clear, loud, and punchy. Definitely an upgrade from the other JBL sound bars I have which are the 3.1 and 5.1 sound bars both with the 10" powered sub.

So far so good. After returning a 9.1 channel 2 times hopefully this new one will work. Especially at how expensive it is.

Insanely solid for the quality build control and sound. Can't express how nice this set is, the detachable speakers from the bar are a really cool touch, remains to be seen how it'll be used.

Great sound. Easy to set up bluetooth connection so it is very cat friendly for those cats who love to explore on equipment!

I've certainly never heard another soundbar that can compete with this one. I'm not a tech guy but I like whatever I'm streaming to be loud and clear. This soundbar is extremely loud and sounds crazy good. I have a large home and the sound from this fills the large room it sits in. If your budget allows; I wouldn't mess around with anything else.

The JBL sounds great and looks good! The rear portaby speakers are so convenient to place anywhere.

Great upgrade from my JBL 3.1. Feels like I’m in the movie. Great bass. And the detachable speakers have a great battery life.

12” sub delivers and the total sound is crisp dialed and amazing. I’m very satisfied with my entertainment system.
