I’ve recently integrated the JBL BAR 500 5.1ch Soundbar with Multibeam and Dolby Atmos into my home setup and found it to be a solid choice for its price. The soundbar delivers an improvement in audio quality that’s noticeable, especially when compared to the built-in speakers of a standard TV. The bass is substantial enough to enrich the sound without dominating it, and the overall audio quality is clear and balanced.

Best Soundbar w/ sub for the price. I recently purchased Samsung and Polk and the jbl bar 500 is the best. I was hesitant from purchase initially because of people saying the bass isint enough but once you install the app you can increase it and it’s more than enough. I’m impressed!

This is by far the best Sound bar I've owned! Love it. The sound is incredible! The bass it provides is even more amazing and is what sold me on this set! JBL has already been a great sound product and this lives up to JBL quality and name! Movies with a lot of action come to life when the sound actually vibrates you from your couch!!

Not the cheapest , but at the same time not the most expensive either. Great product, great brand have had zero issues. Sound awesome. Great sound, bass and surround sound. Well worth the money.

Absolutely the best soundbar I've ever had. The bass is incredible, and the surround sound is solid. Very reasonable price point as well at less than $400. Highly recommend!!

The sound bar and subwoofer are absolutely amazing. The sound quality is crystal clear and it makes your TV/movie experience so much more enjoyable. The subwoofer is so powerful that I could feel the ground shake whenever there's a bang or a loud rumble would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Excellent product! I was a little hesitant at first! But it’s amazing! The setup is easy and contracting to the tv was super fast and easy! You can hear every sound that’s coming out! And I don’t even have to turn up all the volume there is! Feels like I’m in a movie theater! Sometimes when the movie is so intense I can feel a little vibrations coming out! 10/10

I had a bose solo 5 for several years and it was ok, i just thought it was time to upgrade and there were many soundbars that sounded great but too pricey. So the JBL Bar 500 5.1 sounded awesome and easy to hookup and my TV never sounded better. The remote is a luttle small with the basic options, volume, bluetooth, hdmi, bass control level, and calibration and 2 other options. Still learning the remote. For me it's an awesome buy. Price is right. So far i love it.

Have a wide, and open living room. Sounds great! being able to move the Bass tower to the side of my couch was the best move ever. Vibrations and sound with Bass right next to me makes everything sound even better.

Excellent value! I got it on sale for $299. Fantastic bass with the 10" sub and the soundbar itself is very loud. Use the App to tweak it. The low end will hit 32hz and this system will vibrate your walls making things rattle. It leans on the punchy side, but still hits the low lows. Like I said adjust the EQ in the app to hit the sweet spot for you. Great for movies, music, and house parties. The virtual Atmos I can't really say much on, but the side speakers bouncing off the walls creates an awesome surround experience.

I had purchased another system but returned it. The sales associate recommended the JBL 500. Easy setup and great bass that I wanted. Love the wireless subwoofer. The app connected right away.

A sleek profile with great sound and easy setup. The sound panning is excellent, and the bass potential really fills the room. While I wish the whole thing was a bit smaller (sub especially, it's quite tall), very happy with this choice.

My husband and I just LOVE the sound. The soundbar and the subwoofer really make a difference compared to our other sound systems we’ve had in the past!!! It’s like being in a movie theater watching a movie it’s got such clear crisp sound and it is such an amazing experience to have such a great sound system!!! Every one of my portable speakers are jbl and I decided to give their soundbars a chance and this thing gets LOUD & CLEAR! The setup was super easy and the self powered sub flawlessly connected. Will easily be buying another jbl soundbar for the bedroom.
