I always trusted JBL brand, since I work on Audio visual world for many years. This sound bar have all I need, really loud and clear sound also nice subwoofer quality as well. If anybody in need of a sound bar this is the one. Thanks to JBL team and Best buy for having this amazing product!!

This was recommended by my best friend in Minnesota- This has a LOT of bang for the buck! With that being said this is the second JBL unit I’ve had in the past week. The first one the bass was excellent but the bar didn’t work after calibration. I returned it within 2 hours and tried to “exchange “ for the same model the CS agent said there were no more in stock, even though the app said there were several. I accepted the refund and went home to order Sonos Arc Ultra to be delivered 2 days later, today is the day it was to arrive and this morning I received a message saying it couldn’t be delivered until January 12 (today is 12/29) so I went to the store and saw several Arc Ultra’s on the shelf I purchased this system online as soon as I heard the order wouldn’t arrive for almost 2 weeks. So far I like this system and am saving over $1000 so I highly recommend this over the Sonos only because Best Buy severely dropped the ball. I’ll be making a payment to my credit card on the Sonos before it even arrives. SMH (oh I can’t cancel the order until it arrives now because it has “shipped “) so with a delay in refund of up to 5 business day's after return that means it will be almost 3 weeks before I get a refund from the date purchased.

Big improvement over an older Samsung 3.1 system with less power. This soundbar and subwoofer checks all the boxes. Great sound and bass. JBL app works great too. Syncs the sound to the room and you can also use your phone as a remote and also adjust EQ to your preference. App also updates software

Great sound quality! Full home theater feel, deep bass. 1 disadvantage, when many devices are connected, there are disconnections.

Tnis is my second soundbar of this same model as now I have 2. The subwoofer is powerful, yet not overpowering of the crisp sound coming from the bar itself. I've compared a ton in the same price range. None can compete.

It was easy to setup the sound bar and hook right away wuth sound bar. Ver clear sound and rich soubd bass. Watched tge movie interstellar and the entire rine the craft was breaking iut space it felt lie flying in the craft. I love it

the unit sounds great, looks great, and is nice and small. but the one thing holding me back from 5 stars is that the default mode is this fake surround sound thing they call smart mode or something. it sounds weird. you have to manually turn it off and it cannot be configured "off" by default. Aside from that one annoyance this this is great

The biggest strength is the overall balance. Dialogue is clear and easy to understand thanks to the dedicated center channel and PureVoice feature you don’t have to keep turning the volume up just to catch what’s being said. Movies and shows feel fuller and more involving than basic TV speakers or cheaper soundbars

I picked these up on sale and the setup was very easy! Let's just say as soon as my wife heard the sound, the rest is history. The calibration feature is unreal! Awesome Christmas gift to us

The JBL Bar 500 is a high-performing soundbar that offers excellent sound quality, especially for movies and gaming, at a reasonable price point. While it has minor flaws, including occasional connectivity issues and a basic remote control, the overall user experience is overwhelmingly positive.

Absolutely worth buying. The sound is very clear and can get load. The app makes it really nice to fine tune the settings for best quality sound. The best part of this setup is the subwoofer. Its a hige subwoofer for the price ans sounds Absolutely amazing.

The product is excellent but I got 2 count at home so had to return one. Its sound quality is amazing with super bass. It make home a movie theater. Excellent product

This sound bar meets all my expectations. You can hear every detail. The bass hits pretty good. Plus I bought at a great price at Best buy for $350. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just LOVE the sound. The soundbar and the subwoofer really make a difference compared to our other sound systems we’ve had in the past!!! It’s like being in a movie theater watching a movie it’s got such clear crisp sound and it is such an amazing experience to have such a great sound system!!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone asking!!!

This sound bar and woofer combo is amazing. The 3d sound technology and the clarity and JBL bass is unbelievable. You hear every note and some of the sounds I've never heard in the music I normally listen to I was able to hear them. It's like being in a movie theater and a live concert in your house

This JBL BAR 500 is absolutely worth every penny. I purchased 2 other sound bars in the same price range and they didn't even have the range this one has. The bass is amazing and the JBL app makes it nice and easy to fine tune the sound that best suites my space.

We found this set as an open box deal in our store and splurged on it to replace our old wired audio setup. It was so easy, plug and play basically. Surround sound is crisp for movies shows or sports, and it easily switches over to our phones and computer via bluetooth. Rhe self claibration audio tining is awesome, but our dogs hate the ping noises while it calibrates. We also love the white noise provided in the jbl app, couch naps hit different with that rainforest in surround :)

i wasn't expecting the sound quality to be so realistic. movies sound and feel just like im sitting in the theater. my whole house shakes even when my bass volume is at 2 out o 5. the surround sound hits different in some movies for sure. my neighbors had to tell me to turn it down because it sound like constant thunder outside. i own a house... haha
