I bought this sound bar through open box not knowing what to expect because I have never done it before but it came with no problems it was easy to hook up and it sounds great and the base is awesome.

Had the JBL 500 soundbar for bout 2 months now and am satisfied. Sound quality is great, setup was easy. Very good for the price as compared to the much more pricey Yamaha that it replaced! Nice soundbar!

I've been using a Samsung soundbar with subwoofer the last several years and thought it was pretty decent, until I bought the JBL. You can hear so much more of the show you are watching and voices are very clear. Music is loud and sounds great. Numerous reviews complained about the size of the subwoofer. Yeah, it's a subwoofer, it's going to be kind of big. The dimensions are posted on BB's site so I could easily tell it would work fine with my setup. The initial setup is very easy. If I had a complaint it would be the included HDMI cable which does not seem to be ARC/eARC compatible, but that was resolved by using the cable I was already using on the Samsung. If you're considering this item, stop considering and buy it!

This is one of the best sound bars out there! Very good sound quality and earth-shaking bass. Did I mention it was also great for music? This is my second JBL 10 inch sound bar as I also have the JBL 5.1

We went to the store looking for a soundbar for my TV and to replace the old Samsung surround sound. Our first thought was we were gonna look at the Bose system however, they did not have any in the store, and we happened to run into this JBL on display. It sounded great in the store and we thought, will we get the same quality sound at home. so we purchased it and boy let me tell you, this is one of the Best purchases we've made. This soundbar did not dissapoint, the sound is phenomenal and it makes my TV experience so much greater. Our daughter, who is a Millennial, came over to check out our purchase and said that this was by far one of the best soundbar that she's ever heard. So what that means is if you're thinking about purchasing this JBL system, do it you will not regret it!

Cannot believe how good the quality is for an “entry level” sound bar! We feel like we are in the front row of a concert or a movie right at home.

Bought this for my home theater. Sounds great in the space. I didn't want a traditional wired sound system, and projector. I went with this and an 85 inch TCL Q6 series TV. Much cleaner look and it sounds great action and horror movies especially, with the bass.
