Dialog for watching movies was represented as being good. See no difference in all the other brands of sound bars I have tried. There is no good bass output. It works, but still not what I am looking for. it was also touted as not buffering, but I have also experienced that a couple of times.

Surround and Sub are both Unimpressive and extremely underwhelming. Wasn't ready to drop $900 on the 7.1 channel and assumed the 5.1 channel would deliver adequate sound. Was absolutely wrong on that one.

Posted .We appreciate your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Bar 500. First, try to power cycle both devices by unplugging the power cables from the Bar 500 and your TV. Wait for two minutes, then plug them back in and turn them on. Next, check the connections and ensure the HDMI cable is firmly plugged into the HDMI ports (eARC) on both the soundbar and TV. Try using a different HDMI cable if possible. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support for further assistance.
