Good but not the great in the beginning it keep disconnecting due to poor plug or something sound of bass is good but sharpness is lacking on words to hear

Im giving this item a 5 star rating.I cant complain about this item at all actually. Its an easy hook up and just works right away ad sounds good too! Ive actually never been to best buy to buy any products before but with the helpful customer service i had received when i purchased this in store I most definitely would go back..So, Thanks Best Buy for your help. I had a pretygood positive experience there.

Excellent product! I was a little hesitant at first! But it’s amazing! The setup is easy and contracting to the tv was super fast and easy! You can hear every sound that’s coming out! And I don’t even have to turn up all the volume there is! Feels like I’m in a movie theater! Sometimes when the movie is so intense I can feel a little vibrations coming out! 10/10

Best Soundbar w/ sub for the price. I recently purchased Samsung and Polk and the jbl bar 500 is the best. I was hesitant from purchase initially because of people saying the bass isint enough but once you install the app you can increase it and it’s more than enough. I’m impressed!

The sound bar and subwoofer are absolutely amazing. The sound quality is crystal clear and it makes your TV/movie experience so much more enjoyable. The subwoofer is so powerful that I could feel the ground shake whenever there's a bang or a loud rumble would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

It's got great sound and we're glad we settled on this soundbar. We had a Bose which was very good but it had no subbwoofer. We exchanged it for this one which has the subwoofer and the subwoofer makes it so much better.

Haven't had the system long but coming from an few yr old hisense bar and woofer this is amazing. Gets pleanty loud but voices still come through clear. The dolby atmos def makes a difference. Sounds like there are rear speakers with some content. That being said if u do have rear speakers already im not sure if it would make that big a difference but still def worth the money and sounds great. Bass is also pretty dern good. Can feel the sound which to me is a must.

I bought this to replace an older Polk bar that I’ve had for years and I really wasn’t sure what to expect, it had been a while since I’d shopped for good audio equipment, but I knew this was the one as soon as it came up in the app showing an open box with no remote ($100 off!) but that’s no problem for my harmony. I was already out the door to pick it up. I’d been a huge fan of JBL since I first started driving and had to custom retrofit my car dashboard in order to fit infinity kappa perfect tweeters in the corner of the windshield. I wasn’t going to settle for anything less back then, and I decided I was gonna get something really good this time around too. I knew this was the one. Holy cow. I hadn’t realized how far soundbars have come since the last time I looked at anything seriously. Dolby atmos? I have no clue what that is, but I’m definitely plugging in my series x through this hdmi pass through and finding out. It blew me away. I really didn’t know what I was missing. I’d never felt as immersed in the game in my own living room. This thing makes movies truly feel cinematic in my 17’ x 12’ living room. I’m definitely looking to upgrade my 55” next because the sound honestly makes me feel like I’m missing out on what is a great experience. The Bluetooth range on this thing is amazing. Saturday mornings I play music and clean. I take the trash out to the detached garage that has to be about 50’ away and through all the walls of the house and I can still hear it. I know my neighbors must be tired of it by now, but I promise it’s not too loud, this thing just kicks! Plus I always wait for a decent hour before I start. If you’re looking to treat yourself to something a little special that’s really going to amp up your media experience, but don’t want to go too crazy with componen/bespoke or don’t need a 7.2, this is really the top of the heap. This is by far my most satisfying best buy purchase in years.

Great sound, easy setup, hdmi cable included, good value

A sleek profile with great sound and easy setup. The sound panning is excellent, and the bass potential really fills the room. While I wish the whole thing was a bit smaller (sub especially, it's quite tall), very happy with this choice.

10" subwoofer reminds me of my old home theater setup. This is exactly the replacement I needed! Watching movies has been wonderful coming from my decent old Vizio w/ 6" sub. I use it in a 16x16 loft which about max size for this. Very impressed.

Every one of my portable speakers are jbl and I decided to give their soundbars a chance and this thing gets LOUD & CLEAR! The setup was super easy and the self powered sub flawlessly connected. Will easily be buying another jbl soundbar for the bedroom.
