The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because of how vulnerable the speakers/woofers on the ends seem to be! A plastic speaker grill/guard would reduce the paranoia of damaging the woofers on each end. Other than that, this is a great investment.

Lacks a little bass I think for the size but other than that, it sounds great for the size.

This toy is amazing and the sound quality is top notch. I will recommend to anyone who wants to grab one.

This speaker just falls short of being great. The sound isn’t well balanced. It struggles to reproduce punchy bass at low volume, but it soars at around 75% of volume. It’s great for outdoors, which is probably what it was designed for. Vocals are very clear, but may sometimes come across as “tinny”, and you can hear all the instruments clearly. That being said, there is no equalizer. Bummer. I returned it and took the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom instead (this is a much better speaker which adapts to your environment and has way more features, including an equalizer in the app).

I needed something that had a major kick because I work at a plant. It’s not as loud as I thought it would be. It’s cool for days when we don’t have constant materials passing or during downtime. If I still had the box I would probably return it and look for something louder that I can guarantee would be less expensive. For the price, I would think it would have better sound. I’m sure it’s great for home use or even outdoors. That’s just not what I needed it for.
