Great Speaker, will only connect to newer JBL

I wanted to listen in stereo. However I learned the hard way that the Boombox 2 only connects to other current JBL speakers that use PartyBoost, which on the surface should be the same thing. The original Boombox and my Charge 3 both use Connect+. JBL advertises widely that you connect “up to 100 speakers “ but leave out the part where you have to upgrade your current speakers, which is ridiculous. I returned the Boombox 2 , and replaced it with 2 Bose Revolve+ speakers. Mission accomplished and news flash.....Bose products just work

Posted .We appreciate your time in providing us your feedback. Our JBL Boombox 2 has our PartyBoost feature. As Bluetooth technology improves, so do our portable products. Our PartyBoost compatible speakers as of the moment are Boombox 2, Pulse 4, and Flip 5.
