The one thing it's lacking is a loud mode. The speaker does not perform effectively in open space with crowds. Sometimes it seems as if the volume is down.

Posted .What you are experiencing is a limitation of Bluetooth. When you start the video and audio at the same time, the audio will lag behind by the length of time it takes the Bluetooth hardware to receive, process and output it which is known as Latency. You won’t notice this lag if you’re listening to music, but if you’re watching a video the sound may be marginally out of sync. Latency varies depending on the hardware and software setups you have. Bluetooth 4.0 is low latency, so will perform better than older versions. However, as technology improves, latency improves. Unfortunately, this product is not necessarily designed to be used as a speaker for video.

Broken charger

And has scratches all over it. Even The speaker itself had scratches. I paid 545$ for brand new speaker and received an open box used speaker.

Jbl boombox malfunction

Better than Hyperboom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a renewed unit off Amazon without being able to listen to all of them (reviews only). I second guessed the Boombox 2 vs speakers like UE Hyperboom, JBL PB100/PB300, etc... I went to Best Buy and they had them all. I wanted totally portable and that kind of ruled out the party boxes. They sounded maybe a hint louder than the BB2, but not really better sound accuracy. The Hyperboom sounded pretty good in the store and I ordered one. I then picked it up and used it vs the BB2 going back and forth. My Wife also said the BB2 just sounded better... highs, mids and of course bass. The Hyperboom goes 50-18k and the BB2 goes 45-20k. It's on YouTube in sound testing which proved out to our ears. The Hyperboom was returned and we kept the BB2. It's the better portable speaker regardless of some YouTube reviews.

With 24 Hours of playtime, this speaker can change a good time to a great time. It is easy to pair with any device and is easy to move. It has a great base and solid handle. It won't disappoint!
