I recently purchased a JBL speaker, and overall I’m really impressed with the quality. The sound is loud, clear, and has strong bass without sounding distorted, even at higher volumes. It’s perfect for both indoor use and outdoor settings. One thing I really like is the battery life—it lasts several hours on a single charge, which makes it great for trips, gatherings, or just moving around the house. The Bluetooth connection is also quick and stable, with no annoying dropouts. The design is another plus. It’s durable, easy to carry, and waterproof which gives peace of mind around water. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that some models can be a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of sound and build quality. Overall A reliable, high-quality speaker that delivers great sound and durability. Definitely worth considering if you want a portable speaker that performs well.

The JBL Boombox 4 is one of the best portable speakers you can get if you want powerful, room-filling sound with deep bass, extremely long battery life (over a full day), and rugged waterproof build quality. It’s perfect for parties, outdoor use, or even loud gaming setups, delivering clean audio even at high volumes. The only real downsides are its heavy size, high price, and lack of an AUX port, but overall it’s about as close to a top-tier “all-in-one” speaker as you’ll find.

As soon as I got one I had to get another, very loud and compact and best of all music you can feel! Awesome battery life and sound that is consistent with the JBL name. I had heard of software issues earlier on but I can tell you with the latest versions they solved it. Auracast makes pairing super easy and they sound amazing. One is great and plenty for most gatherings and bbq’s, trips to the beach and park. Two you can throw a party with!

The JBL Boombox 4 from JBL is an absolute powerhouse. The sound is loud, clear, and packed with deep bass that easily fills any space. Battery life is impressive, lasting all day without a problem. This speaker was not what I expected, in the best of ways of course. Its loud, yes, but at the right amount. Depending on the environment, it can either burst your ears in a small room, or you can hear it from the next block over. With the Bass Boost feature, you can not only hear the music, but FEEL the sound waves. And last but not least, Auracast, i have the Charge 6 and Clip 5 which also have Auracast and can easily sync up my music in my home or at gatherings and you can walk into the next room with a synced speaker with the music seemlessly following you. For the price, this product exceeded my expectations. If you’re a JBL fanatic, this ones a no brainer if you like taking your music on the go.

I got this $100 off and it was well worth it. I have loved my boombox 3, but the 4 takes it to a totally different level concerning loudness and bass with the same or better clarity because of the enhanced EQ on the BB4. It is also noticeably lighter as well. It literally gets twice as loud and the bass capabilities aren’t even comparable. I have every boombox and i would say this one is the biggest upgrade over the previous generation. I can also connect this with my Partybox 520 out in the yard with auracast and the batteries are interchangeable which is great. People complaining about the price are the people that don’t know much about modern tech. The lightness and portability of a speaker that sounds the way the BB4 does shouldn’t exist. The BB4 is well worth the price. Get one. You won’t regret it. I use “Rock” Eq on my iPhone combined with a custom EQ curve on the JbL app and prefer deep bass mode for the best sound.

I just received my JBL Boombox 4 through UPS in just 3 business days. Not only was my product shipped to me fast but the box was much bigger than I expected. After testing the sound on this boombox I realized this boombox sounded a lot more like a kicker I had installed in a car. This boombox is off da wall, Seriously, all these comparisons they advertise on YouTube are garbage. No more comparing because if you ain’t got JBL, you ain’t got a boombox. Not only does this boombox have superior sound, but it has bass that bumps just as loud as my JBL 1300 & it’s portable. You got to get this boombox, there is nothing but pure bass & you get every dollars worth & even more for what you bargain for. JBL4LIFE.

Amazing sound quality and battery life. Don’t hesitate to demo it. It is a keeper. Coming from an extreme 2 = no comparison. Very livhtweight for the amount of distortion free output

Finally... I can jam with the subcompact benefits of a real fine quality boombox. The audio is crisp. There is some preset audio contols and for those who can do custom it has it. I love it! Battery life is good the durability is good. It doesnt rattle. Positioning is important and i wish they made a little better cover for it but it did have a cover so no problems from me.

The boombox 4 is driven by the bass and excellent sound quality. If you have a charge 6 it pairs extremely well since this becomes the ultimate portable setup. Upgrading from the boombox 3 to boombox 4, is well worth the money.
