I got this on a sale during Christmas. I though about returning it because it was an impulse buy, but after using it indoors and out, it is at home to stay. I did however get the notice that the Boombox2 is coming out, but I wonder what that's going to cost!?

My first jbl Bluetooth was smaller the sound was great and I loved that I could take it anywhere. Now I have to admit, the boom box is much bigger and will not fit in a backpack but with convenience off the built in handle this thing is just all out amazing.

I really like my boombox speaker. I used a lot when working outside, in the garage or when we grill out. Sound is great, the battery last for a while, roughly 8-10 hours of straight play time. Also it charges very quickly.

Its a loud speaker and very good brand that continues to deliver

The JBL Boombox is a great speaker. It's made very well, sounds amazing even at high volumes, and the bass on the speaker is awesome. I love JBL speakers in general but I've used this one almost every day since I've bought it for work or while I'm at the pool.

The only good JBL speaker and the only good Bluetooth speaker. It packs a punch and has very good sound quality. Battery life is very nice. Lasts a few days without charging and that is when I used it for about 8 hours each day.

I have 6 jbl speakers now and they are all Amazing. I get outstanding sound quality from all of them and long lasting battery life. I would recommend the boom box to any of my friends. They still have jbl connect so you can even hook up to three together. Definitely a good buy.

Decided on this speaker after researching the Sony and Sonos speakers. Love the sound and portability of it. Just enough power for cook outs, camping, tailgating ect. Could have a little more bass but over all it's great. Got this on sale too so no brainer.

This is a great bluetooth speaker/boombox. It is big enough for a crowd and outdoors, but also small enough to carry place to place. Sound is incredible with perfect highs, mids, and of course real bass lows. Battery last forever!!!!

I have a bunch of JBL Portable speakers and this one just hits the top. It was pricey but its worth for what you're getting. I would say it is pretty big for it to be portable. Sound quality is very high and bass is just perfected properly. JBL all the way!

In addition to really great sound and battery life, the JBL Boombox is a great design. Much lighter weight than I expected. I previously had the Braven XXL and this is a much-improved product for anyone looking for a large Bluetooth speaker.

This has definitely been a high-quality long lasting double boom box that I’m very happy with. I’m very satisfied with the speakers, the sound is amazing. The sound fills any room I’m in and all my friends love it.

Good speaker when on sale; not worth the full $500, although it is waterproof and the battery doesn’t die.

This box is incredible. I've gotten it wet at the pool. I've brought it the weight room. I've brought it to school. The sound is awesome. All of my friends are impressed I love it. Buy it!

I've owned many bluetooth speakers, but this one is by far the greatest. This thing is huge! And the bass on it is crazy insane. I'm extremely impressed with this speaker, would definitely recommend buying it. Cons: The price.

I’ve had several Bluetooth speakers and this by far is the best one in my opinion from sound quality to battery life and having charging ports makes it nice as well I would definitely recommend this portable speaker for any occasion.

This speaker kicks butt. It can play really loud and lasts a long time per charge. Playing at normal levels I have gone days playing for hours at a time. Great for parties anywhere or just listening wherever

Bought for outdoor parties and the beach. Previously thought about buying one about a year ago, but it seemed kinda pricey. However, the recent $100 off sale sealed the deal for me. Sounds great. Gets really loud if you need it.

It really came down to just this boom box, and the highest Diane Bose Bluetooth speaker. To the true audio file them you will notice the Bose still has a slightly crisper sound but does not compare at all and bass or overall damp of sound.

We use this speaker in a large room at work, it’s easy to connect and sounds amazing, I was going to get a Sonos system and this was cheaper and sounds just as good. It will get really loud and is still super clear.
