I had a smaller one and wanted something louder and this one the next step up. Sound is loud and clear. Kind of reminds me of those old school boom boxes. but a lot more modern. The bass is also great for the size

Bought this for my husband for Christmas because he’s always listening to classic rock and LOUD. This baby can blast music like no other, is great outside and he LOVES it!

I bought the JBL - Boombox Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black when it was on sale for $350. The speaker is loud and the bass is very good, it's bulky but overall a very good speaker

Sound quality is great. Syncs with Android phones easily. Battery last a long time without needing to charge. It's perfect at the river, by the pool or hanging out outdoors.

I still have an original JVC Kaboom box, held up well over the years! Needed to update, was not disappointed! I consider Myself an audiophile ... great bass and clear highs ,Super battery life !

It sounds awesome indoor and outdoor. It’s waterproof for real!!! I also had a great experience with warranty for the power button. Jbbl replaces the unit for free after 6 months

It's a bit pricey but it's well worth the money. This speaker is truly one of the best bluetooth speakers on the market. I am very pleased with it and have gotten many compliments on it.

Wonderful sound quality, could be louder and it's kinda ugly but other than that , the best current wireless speaker. Can some one do better ? Right now JBL is king !!!

Great bass and an awesome portable speaker. Took it on a Kanu in the ocean and performed flawlessly for The whole day with water splashing all over it. Love this speaker.

This speaker's sound is incredible and it is perfect for our backyard. When the kids jump in the pool we don't worry about the splashes hitting the speaker since it is able to handle it.

I just purchased this jbl boombox for my husband and he is in love with it. We already have the jbl extreme so linking them together is even better for indoor/outdoor music sharing.

Best part is this is portable and provides such a uplifting environment with music. It fills the whole house with awesome tunes once you connect your phone to it.

This is the best sounding speaker I own. A bit pricey but for me worth every dollar. It is also very loud and clear. If I had the disposable income I would buy another.

The Boombox Speaker sounds loud and clear when out on my boat and cruising. Can be easily wiped down after use to clean salty residue after a cruise on the ocean.

First off the sound is loud with good deep bass, weight is not light but not too heavy either and the handle makes it easy to carry. Only slight complaint would be sometimes if bass is too high then you may get a sort of a cracking type sound but just adjust the bass slightly and you’re good, only happened with Spotify and I had equalizer all the way up. Overall this is an awesome speaker but wait for a sale since regular price of $450 is a bit steep. I got it for $350 on sale which still hurts but I think is worth it.

This boombox it’s perfect for throwing a party, the sound and the quality of its is great and powerful. You can take it everywhere you want and is waterproof. Very recomended
