The best boombox out there 5 stars i had this for over 4 years works like the first day every time

Jbl makes great portable audio speakers, Great sound. Plan on using on my boat this summer..Just need one more of these beast. My only dislike is wall charging..

I bought that product without testing it and was not sure if the product was going to be good for the sound. I was so positively surprised. Sound is UNBELIEVABLE. Much better than any other on the market.. I checked many of them and tried many of them and was never satisfied. Also, I use it for my conference calls. The integrated Microphone is excellent. People can not tell the difference when I switch from my airpods to the boombox and vice versa. I even consider buying another one as you can pair them in stereo mode and more.... Dont even think twice, just go buy it!!

Awesome speaker, will play all day on one charge. Great sound, has hit the water multiple times with zero issues. Truly is water proof. Bought in 2018, the battery seems to be toast after 4 years of use. Doesn't hold charge anymore needs to be plugged in.

After reading a bunch of reviews on how great this speaker is and punchy the bass is I decided to give it a try. Worst waste of my time and money. Don't get me wrong the speaker sounds great at anything below 60% max volume. The problem 60% volume is just not loud enough. At 100% volume this thing is not loud enough. At anything over 60% the highs are too bright. The mid range is slightly better than good but throughout any volume output the bass is non-existent. I tried outdoor mode, bass mode, messing with EQ settings from different audio sources and no dice. This speaker is way overpriced for what it is. JBL definitely missed the mark on this one. For $450 I expect to come home with a nice piece of equipment. Also please note that I am JBL fanatic, I have owned the JBL charge 2, 2+, 3, Extreme, as well as other JBL branded portable and home audio equipment. I thought JBL held themselves to a higher standard than this. I am now back on the market looking for a better Bluetooth speaker.

Ended up going with the full size portable for my sister's dance studio. It was loud but not quite loud enough. Wish I would have had it for myself though. I went with the extreme which is great and portable but not quite as loud as this guy.

This is a perfect machine because I can skip songs by pressing the play button on the boom box. It's tough and the sound is so great!

If you like really loud clear music you need to check out the new JBL Boombox. With a battery that last forever. You won't be disappointed.

I love JBL's sound quality and the bass it provides. Definitely one of the best portable speakers out there.

Let me start by saying that i have had the Bose revolve 2, the beats pill xl and the plus, the charge 3, and the xtreme and i can truly say that i have not been so blown away by such clarity, such mid's and such bass like I have with this Boomboox. My only difficulty is carrying it around but then i saw that there is a case for it on amazon defiantly going to get my hands on one soon. Get it, you will not be disappointed.

awesome rich and loud sound. definitely loud enough for outdoor parties

This is a well built speaker. The bass is fabulous and it's plenty loud. The crisp highs like cymbals etc can barely be heard. I'm disappointed, am considering returning it. I need to figure out a better option first. I wish I would have listened in the store. I just went by reviews. The average non audio file person would probably love it.

I bought my boombox back in December 18. Everything was perfect until June 9th 19 when I tried to recharge it cause it was down to two LED lights left & it just wouldn’t charge. So I went to Best Buy to see what they could do about it but they don’t honor the factory warranty. So I had to contact JBL & they told me to send the speaker to them so they could fix it or replace it. At the end I did get a brand new replacement from JBL but they couldn’t explain what was wrong with my original unit so now I’m a little worried that it may fail again in the next six months left of the factory warranty which is why I can not give it a 5 stars rating.

i liked it, i think it sounds great but to be honest i was expecting more from it based on the price. i had to return it

Got one last year $100 off worked great but should have a remote control and be able to plug into t.v as well was going to use on my bike but would not fit on my rack so I sold.

I've in the past year bought 2 jbl xtremes which are great and they connect together with no issue I have a friend who has a jbl charge and they will all play together. So I pay over $500 for this beast and the first thing I try to do is hook all 3 together with the connect button to my surprise they won't work. Now someone please tell me why jbl would do something like this.
