It is rather large and did not produce the sounds and frequencies I was looking for. Muffles at high volume. Speaker size is still rather small. If you have money to buy this, buy a cheap bose PA system for 1 - 200 more or a roland cube.

Waited for ever to buy it and....

Then moved up to the charge 2 then To the Xtreme and I was super excited to link them (through connect) only to find out it wasn't possible (Xtreme/BOOMBOX) after emailing JBL directly for a solution for some type of software update they pretty much said my options were return it to the store or buy a new Xtreme 2 (both w/connect +). The sound and bass are awesome if your only buying one speaker and can't decide which one, out of all of them this would be my top pick just don't expect to be able to use all the features if you have other JBL Products at home do some research first.

Great for outdoors
