i had the flip. this one is way better. gave it to a friend. We've been rockin' it in his car. the bass will satisfy, punchy and loud. If you ride a bicycle around at all, this is the speaker for you! bro.

The JBL Charge2 has very good low end and a long battery life. I especially like the party mode where you can connect more than one user device and switch between them by just playing a song.

The JBL speaker is great for a medium sized room and its portability is just what I needed to play music from my smartphone and iPod. The bass response isn't as great as I expected, but better than average...Very pleased!
