I have owned one for 2yrs- decided to buy another as a gift for my parents.(70yrs) It is easy to use- has a long battery life, easy to plug in and to charge. Terrific sound. Very durable- my kids bring it everywhere.

This JBL speaker is incredible... It will fill the whole entire room with amazing sound for it's size. This speaker is a superior designed product, I'm so impressed with this JBL product I now own three of these units. The (((BASS))) on the unit is truly amazing with a bumpin' kick that you can actually see. I bought this unit in white to take with us on the boat, the white color stays much cooler in direct sunlight than any other color, too bad JBL hasn't produced this item yet in the waterproof Charge 2 Plus version in all white for Marine use.... Call it the Charge 2 Plus Marine just for boater's and people taking it to the beach or around the pool. Why they never produced a waterproof Charge 2 Plus in White I'll never know.

I really like charge2 speaker. Gives a great sound, plays for a long time on a charge, fills my backyard with sound. Had friends ask where the music is coming from because they are looking for a much bigger unit.

Has a deep full range sound. I plugged it in to my TV, along with a small subwoofer, and sounds terrific. But is good also as a stand alone speaker. Bluetooth also sounds great. I listen to audible books, and has plenty of volume, even while driving in the car... ;)

I've used this at a family vacation and it was great! Multiple family members were able to connect to it and play their music. The battery lasted a long time and the sound on it is great! Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a great portable audio system.

i bought the brv-1s about two months prior to purchasing this unit. two factors made that decision: 1.the charge 2 was $50 dollars more 2. three best buys i visited had non-working demos of the charge two. when the price dropped to 119 i had to do some research and trust those reviewing the unit. all in all, i'm impressed. this blows the brv out of the water in sound and loudness. great bass and clarity for a unit so small - i thought the brv1s was impressive for it's size too. i'm more of a mid-tone fan with bass being just as important, but clean bass is better than loud mud. treble fatigues me quickly and the charge isn't as tinny as the monster and UE sounded. this has become my work out buddy now! the brv is now my daughters, so it's still getting use.

Bought the JBL Charge 2 after several researches and an advice from a Best Buy employee at the store. I was to pay $200.00 for the Bose Soundlink mini and asked for his opinion which came without a doubt: "Save $50 and get the JBL that is way much better. I have a band and we use JBL for testing our sounds". No regrets so far after 2 months of use. Battery lasts at least 5 hours IF working full-time and in high volume. If you use it regurlaly like once or twice a day expect to only charge it once a week or every 10 days!! As for the sound quality, it is great for indoor use (I would say it's even more than what I needed). It is easy to carry but the base is too thin which makes it easy to roll down from any surface as per its rounded shape. For the latter I only give 4 stars. Tip: Use it smartly. Once the sound is generated both in front and on the rear (which is annoying to be honest), try to use something like a shell-format (a dish, any objec or even a wall) facing the rear of it and you will see a great boost on the overall sound.

Very good sound for a small package that can also charge your devices if needed. I use this when working in the garage or in my workshop. Connects fast and effortlessly. Too bad it doesn't come with a case.

the first time i herd about JBL charge was that they where released in radio shack and man they sounded great. Now the charge 2! they put music to another level and that is something i would be proud to pull out of my backpack and show off. best medium size speakers to buy. worth its price!

Awesome speaker for the price, great sound and plenty loud. I love the feture that allows it to connect to up to five devices at once so friends can play the next song.o has very good battery life.

We love our JBL! It is perfect to throw in a bag and take with us wherever we go. The sound quality is pretty good for a speaker at this price point and it also holds a decent charge.

This Bluetooth speaker delivers a big soundstage in a small footprint. The Bluetooth connection was easy to make. This battery powered speaker is highly portable. Highly recommended.

No, not Wal-Mart; I mean the speaker! For what you're paying you can't go wrong with this speaker. It sounds deep and has no trouble filling up a room. The battery life is great, I've only had to charge it a handful of times in the last month. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality speaker at an affordable price.

It's so small and compact but gives a full sound. It's so handy and works well. Very easy to use. I dropped once from 3 ft high, but nothing happened. Well built. Love it!!!

Loved this purchase. It connects to your iphone through Bluetooth and you can just carry it around with you anywhere in the house or outside on the patio. It has a great sound.

For the price, this was a great purchase. Good clear sound and bass from a small device. It is easy to use and sync up to Bluetooth. We are enjoying it ... No issues to date.

I purchased this speaker as a gift for my wife who has been enjoying it very much. For a unit that small, it produces big sound... the bass effect is very good. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because, the unit is overall cylindrical in shape and the flat bottom on which it sits should have been a bit wider. With the bottom being smaller, it tends to roll and fall if accidently bumped. Not that it happens often!

Very pleased with my purchase! The speaker delivers great sound in a small package! Nice bass without being overwhelming. Nice well balanced for classical, opera, jazz and new age music. I can walk quite a distance with my Android phone without losing the Bluetooth signal. The speakerphone feature is decent, but not spectacular. You need to be quite close to the unit for the other caller to hear you clearly. Otherwise, it's everything I hoped for and more in a compact speaker.

Full and clear sound from small package. Bass sounds solid for its size don't like the port for the bass tube at certain tones sounds like it's blown, but handles most tones well. Fast charger when charging a phone from the device. Love the battery life between charges.
