It can connect to everything just using a Bluetooth connection.

I rely a lot on reviews from this site so it's only fair I post one of my own. Where to start! This is a great speaker in every way. Let's start with the look and size. Before I purchased it I drew out the dimensions on a piece of paper and thought it was a little big. That was compared to the old blue-tooth junk box I had (X-Bass by Divoom- $50 unwisely spent). When I saw it at the store, I not only liked the size but was convinced the bass must surely be good. Test- It sounded great at the store but I wondered how it would sound in the real world- my back yard, basement, camp site in the Summer etc. Sound- it sounds great! And I do mean that. The bass which is usually my pet peeve- for most of you I guess- is superb, for the gear and price. No matter your taste in music, try it with "Beyond" by Daft Punk, which at the time of writing this, is considered cool. (For you 1960s folk- its the guy who sang 'Happy', that catchy tune you couldn't shake off). I digress sorry. Back to the sound, you'll love it and even at full volume -which could be louder, but for that you need some sort of club permit and certainly a better sound system-it doesn't distort any sound unlike my old junk box, actually, unlike most of the other speakers I tried. Still trying to confirm the battery lasting time, it came 95% charged and still going after 5 hours of mostly online playing. Bluetooth range is fantastic, can still control it in a different far away room. As for looks, it almost looks too delicate to take outdoors, yet it's great there too. My only drawbacks- it doesn't come with a carry or storage case. My junk box did and unfortunately that case is too small for the Charge 2. I hope the bass membrane on either side lasts, have to handle the Charge 2 with care. oh, I forgot, the multi-user connection. Now my kid can share that "super awesome song you've got to hear Dad". All he has to do is connect to the Charge2,(press connection button and pick up the signal) and hit play on his iPhone and there's the song. I hit play to take over with my song and send him to go get me a beer- or water, and leave me in peace to my great music. Bottom line- highly recommend!!!

the sound is good for its size and price. However, it only connects to my nexus 5. ipad failed, imac failed, my desktop failed! if you need a desktop speaker, stay away from it!

Got this at $50 with discounts, totally worth it. Won't blow you away but for the price it was a great purchase.

Theres more bass than anything. You can't even hear much of the music. Mine didn't even last two months and I had to exchange it.

I thought I was getting a great deal purchasing this JBL speaker that Watson sale at the store, but found out that it does not work well when watching YouTube videos.

Sound is alright , but can't handle loud sounds Too light , easy to displace

I am satisfied with the results of this speaker. However, in a few months battery began to lose power

I returned UE boom and bought this JBL charge 2. It was a great decision. UE was lacking the bass. I liked this even better than the mini Bose which I almost bought. Best buy is a great place to listen to them before you buy which is another draw back for online stores. As a sound enthusiast I strive for perfection and sounds were crisp and bass was unbelievable. JBL did a great job packing a big punch in a small portable package.

The quality and depth of the sound that comes out of this little speaker is astonishing! The volume is impressive as well. It's adequate for most situations, and was even loud enough in the back yard that I was concerned it might disturb the neighbors. All this at a price point significantly lower than anything I looked at that was even comparable. I Highly recommend it if you're looking for a rechargeable, portable Bluetooth speaker. It works well as a speaker phone too. I have not yet used it to charge a phone, so I cannot comment on that.

Vol is way lower that the previous one.. BT conection sucks

It was a good product until one of the speakers blew out 1 month after the protection plan ended. Wasnt very loud so good for inside, but not outside.
