Incredible sound in small package. JBL is not a well advertised as some companies but they have been in the business a long time. They consistently produce high quality sound products and this is no exception. It is amazing how much bass comes out that little speaker. Not recommended for a large area, but for personal use, it is excellent.

My wife and I bought this as a gift for my father in law. We wanted a speaker that had good sound quality, but it had to be small enough to easily travel with. The sound quality of the smaller speakers just wasn't up to snuff. While the bigger speakers were too big. This one was just right. My father in law is very pleased with his gift.

I love this product I everything about it the battery the sounds the size the volume could be a little more but it is not a big deal

Have to say overall this portable speaker is not bad for the price, it also has the nice feature of being able to charge your phone via USB and has a longer battery life than the jbl flip 2. As far as sound the jbl charge2 is not the greatest it lacks in highs and the bass that it does deliver sounds a bit muffled. In all honesty being an owner of the charge 2 and the flip 2 I would have to say the sound quality on the flip 2 is much more superior. The sound quality of the flip 2 is clearer but does not deliver the bass that the charge 2 delivers, but the bass from the charge 2 is nothing worth buying, let's remember these are portable speakers that are not going to put out enormous bass. Overall features of the charge 2 are nice but for price and sound I would go with the flip 2 hands down.

I purchased this speaker after my old player died to play my iTunes library on my phone and/or laptop. I was clueless about Bluetooth but a Best Buy employee configured my phone to this speaker right in the store very quickly! It has great sound and it is compact and easy to use. I love that I can use it with my iPhone music without having my phone physically connected, so I can use my phone as a remote of sorts, and it worked perfectly for a party I gave using my playlists. You should know that if you get a call on your iPhone or a text, the ringtone or alert sound will also come through the speaker and pause the music, but that didn't really bother me. I have yet to hook up my laptop iTunes to the speaker but suppose it could easily be done as well.

Excellent low ends and pretty balanced and powerful sound overall. I had the JBL Charge (1st gen) and although this does not reach the volume of the first generation, it does create a great sound environment for whatever room you are in. I highly recommend this product over every other portable bluetooth speaker on the market.

This is my second JBL Charge, I have both the Charge and the Charge 2. Both speakers sound great and are easy to hook up. I really enjoy the social feature on the Charge 2, it is nice to be able to switch back and forth between multiple devices without having to disconnecting from one device before connecting on the other.

I tested this speaker at the store alongside the popular beats pill and found the JBL speaker to be more powerful. The fact that it has bass is awesome. They only had it available in red when I made the purchase, but that's ok. It was a gift for my husband and he loved it! I definitely recommend this over the beats pill.

For a small size speaker it packs a really good sound! Easy to pair with iPhone and iPad.

This speaker is awesome!!! The bass on this speaker is so loud but so clear. I sampled a few of the speakers at the store and decided that this speaker was much better than the other competitors, and it was cheaper than the other speakers.

Great sounding Bluetooth speaker, with an incredible lomg-lasting battery life. Used at an all-day outdoor easter celebration, with many people pairing to it. The battery outlasted the day. Pairing is super easy, and it is great that you can use its internal battery to charge your other devices. Great overall!

I have been very happy with the sound quality and battery life. It puts out clear sound and good bass for such a small size. It's great for party's or about any occasion. Excellent product!!

This thing is a dream. It has bass speakers on the sides that you can literally see pumping out a very nice, deep bass. The speaker itself can reach a very high volume and the bass can also keep up without sounding terrible. This is not the splash proof model but for $30 less it has been worth every penny.

I had the 1st gen charge. This new one is great. Nice full bass for a portable speaker. Great battery life. The main difference between this one and the old generation is sound is funneled to the front. no openings for sound to come out the side like the 1st gen. Not a bad thing, just something to adjust to.

This small speaker packs an amazing crisp sound quality. I use it at the office everyday, battery last about 4 continuous hours at a low volume. My speakers in my jeep also stopped working, and I have been using this speaker as a replacement; it fills the car ride with a good bass, and treble.

Use for phone and music. Very good sound and loud enough for most situations. Nice backup charger when cell phone went down or when tablet needed a boost. Sounded like mom was in the room when used as external speaker for phone.

I bought this speaker to use on my patio with my phone and iPod. Connecting the speaker to the devices was straightforward and quick. The speaker sounds great and I've used it for more than 6 hours continually without it dying out.

Listened to many wireless speakers before purchasing & if you want a compact & powerful speaker this is it! Fantastic clarity even at high volume & the bass is excellent for the size.

The JBL Charge 2 is a terrific little Bluetooth speaker, with surprisingly big sound for it's size (about a large Arizona iced tea can). But I bought it to use as a conference table speaker and mic, and it works just like I hoped. Fast and easy connections, and the battery lasts forever!
